I see several good flashes on McCain but he was treated like a bust just 2 weeks ago and now all of sudden we have to keep him as a foundational piece.

Look, small sample sizes are tricky.

Still he has several of the things this team lacks, most importantly: he's a great distributor and playmaker. But his offense, even with the good footwork he has, is gonna be dependent on his 3 point % and he's shooting Curry numbers on this streak, that's going to go down eventually ( and if not, throw the bag at him already lol)

The one elite skill he was supposed to have was the shooting. That he has more than that already is a great sign.

I trust my eyes, i think the real answer is more on the middle of the two points. He has a much higher ceiling than anticipated tho
