Every pass from Caleb feels like a 50/50 ball. The entry pass is being the worst.

A lot of this is on Nurse, Joel had an embarrassing effort but Nurse has played some horrible lineups out there. All the "Only" PG went bad.

He tried Drummond on the second because...reasons. The lineups with spacing at the beginning of the 3rd was the our best one and then he went back to the zero movement lineup with Joel in place of PG.

From there everyone went to ****.

And too many dumb players. Unless it's to convert an assist, no one should touch the ball other than Maxey and McCain. They should be the "system" as Harden would say.

We should trade all our players at peak value. Maxey and McCain to start. What's the point of having players at peak value anyway?
The point is that Maxey isn't an aging 7 footer with an injury prone history and a reputation for shrinking in the playoffs.

Hope you prove me wrong.... but I simply disagree if you feel like Embiid is going to drag us through 4 hard fought playoff series. Smart organizations like Boston and Miami would have stayed in front of this.

Joel got bad positioning and McCain lead him towards the baseline opening up an easy motion for Joel to move towards the ball and flow that into an easy layup. Joel looked like he wasn't happy with the throw until he realized what McCain had done by throwing it where he did.

Here's a message from the future: turn it off once McCain fouls out.

this is a team that hasn't played with each other at all

and thats why the "plan" is stupid as **** lol. Thats something that works for teams that have been together for years. That Toronto team's core was together and just plugged in Kawhii to occasionally go "save me" mode. It didn't work with the Clippers because they were basically a new squad on the fly.

I hate to pull a Bum and repeat myself but yeah this offseason "plan" was flawed and its Morey's playbook to a tee...collect names and expect it to work because they are names...ignoring things like fit, age, and the fact that it is hard to win with a whole new team...better teams (Nets, First Year Heat, All of the Clippers) haven't overcome that.

Again the sad reality may just be its too late and the past eras mistakes doomed us but yeah idk if going w/ a bunch of old mecenaries was the right path either

we really should look into David Robinsoning Biid real soon....it won't help his "window" but that **** may be closed anyway, He needs to Brook Lopez himself and become a better shooter for the remainder of his career.

What do they do in practice? Is Nick Nurse coaching these games while inebriated? I have real concerns…

I still feel optimistic. McCain is awesome. Embiid was brutal in that 2nd half, but looked like he was moving better than the last game. I didn't come away with "oh no, what if he's cooked?" after this one, but rather think it's mostly a conditioning thing.

Maybe it's just that I haven't bothered to watch most of this season so I'm not as beat down by the losses.

The fit of some of the support guys worries me a bit, but that can be addressed. The olds look old. Drummond might end up being salary matching fodder (Oubre too if necessary...). Feels like you maybe need a bigger starting 4 (particularly if McCain ends up in the lineup) and a legit, big PG type as a 3rd guard.

Joel has done a lot for the city. He's also done a lot of this. So I'd say we're even.

If Caleb doesn't get his shot back, you have to move one of him or Oubre on the package for KJ too.

Just read through (thank you message from the future) and I wanted to comment that PG was getting good drives. He just missed a lot. Some were bad bounces/luck, some were too hard. I also felt he had good effort on defense. It is frustrating to see an offensive player be this cold, but even Steph has those nights. I have less of a complaint so far watching PG tonight (still in qtr 2 tho).

Oh damn, what a wicked head fake by McCain on Isaac to get a wide open layup. McCain's really worked on his rope a dopes and change of pace moves.

Clown show organization. Assuming they make the playoffs, the excuse for failing will be a lack of chemistry that they sabotaged themselves by sitting people.
