God Joel, get over whining about a miss called. PG gifted you an easy fast break (while you sulked at the other end) and rather than worry about going up strong and scoring it you searched out the player you felt got away with a foul and fished for the call thus missing the shot (he did get call, but went from a possible and 1 to just 2 pts).

Watching the game on and off, but Embiid was making me actively cringe at times. Trying to cross people over at the three point line and dribbling off his feet, holding the ball like a statue at the top of the key looking for a pass and getting ripped from behind by Anthony Black -- flashbacks to the 2018 playoffs against the Celtics.

Great player but it's shocking how immature he still plays to this day.

I’m just coming in here to say despite the horrible loss you guys should be freakin ecstatic that you guys really drafted the #1 player in the draft so technically you got a #1 pick in such a pivotal time for your franchise.

I honestly wouldn’t even care about a down season if it were me for my team haha.

Honestly with how well Morey has been drafting, I'd wait to make a trade. If Embiid is done this season, then we need the picks to get ready for the next wave of Maxey and McCain. Also, this is a nasty draft from what I've been seeing.

The one thing I noticed is that McCain looks like he is able to make those entry passes to Joel. Now, it could be that Joel has gone so long without someone able to do this, that he's developed a bad habit; but, even with McCain he doesn't hold his position but instead comes towards the pass moving himself from just outside the pain to now in no-man's land.

Someone needs to get Joel into practice and hammer down that he has to hold his low post position and stop stepping out 2-3 feet to get the entry pass.

Terrible decision making from such a old squad. Then when the 20 y.o rookie sat it got worse. This team is embarrassing to watch right now.

It looks like the basketball gods might have sent a sympathy gift in McCain, still a little too early to tell though.

I usually agree with your feedback, but saw this one differently with regards to Embiid. Wagner/Isaac were killing him while 2nd tier guards were attacking him (successfully) and his readiness/willingness to challenge just wasn't there. His conditioning is not acceptable.... he's a max contract veteran professional who just sat out the other night.... I'm done with the 'he's still working himself back in shape' argument. We were buried in the standings coming into this contest and it's a tournament game. He's our franchise player and his lack of competitive nature should disturb everyone.

Gonna give Joel some props; McCain got an O-board and could have fed the big guy but took it himself and made the layup. I've seen Joel in the past kinda bark at teammates when that happens. He instead patted McCain on the tush in a supportive way. Good to see.

So, I was going to just have some fun while watching the collapse portion of the game. Everyone can forget about trading Joel. Under the CBA Joel cannot be traded this year because he signed his extension.

So Joel is here for the full year, you'll just have to accept him being here.

I would not be mad one bit if Joel just took the whole year off. Come back next year locked and loaded. He really is at a crossroads in his career. He needs to get right physically or be gone.
