Slims Keys to the game

* AD needs at least 20 points by half time

* should lead by half time by at least 20 expecting a blowout game, give starters some rest

* Some solid playing time for Max, Cam, Knecht, Koloko

Key players to watch: Max, Cam, Knecht, DLO maybe some Olavari minutes?

Would love to see at some point a Koloko AD front court just to see a glimps of twin towers combo.

I would be surprised if AD plays. Either way, have to win this.

Lakers need to remember the old "Marathon" adage. No point in running our two stars into the ground at the start of the season.

AD has only had one ‘off game’ so far, that’s when he was half blind from eye poking. I expect him to dominate today.

Let’s hope that LeBron will get his fifth straight triple double. Never been done before.

I like what little Koloko has shown.

Time to start my lineup soon, JJ. When is Vando ready?

They have a lot of injuries... didn't realize Rui had an ankle sprain, either. Koloko is looking like he's going to get big min.

sure seems like making a trade to offload Dlo would be wise for some depth or whatever... not sure we need to swing for a star.

Ok. I'll admit jj is a step up from ham.

Is this all you got jj?

I mean, ham did this too on occasion. 5 game or 6 game winning streak. Fake feel-good streak, yeah we got a 6-game win streak coming in.
All sub 500 teams of course.

Then we go on a 3-game losing streak against the premium teams.

Yeah...I didn't like Ham. Just never did. He replaced a coach who won a title for us...and I thought it was more than clear that our issue was westbrick...and that god-awful concoction of old players they brought in. Vogel was a perfectly good coach (wasn't the best, but I thought he was good) and making him the fall guy was ridiculous. Ham seemed like a good guy, but he was a clear downgrade, Imo. I don't know that there is alot that anyone can do with this squad.....but Ham was not the guy. JJ already seems better, but like you said...let's get 3/4 of the way through the season...have some ups and downs, let other coaches see what he's doing...counter...and then see what JJ is made of then. Darvin certainly had some nice moments as well, as you mentioned...so this start is just JJ doing his job, as far as I'm concerned. I'm just glad JJ is showing himself to be a competent coach. I was worried he'd be total crap...and we'd be dealing with that.

AD is ballin out so far. Wish I had any faith that it will last. Would be great if he proves me wrong. He can rub my nose in it. It's very impressive what an A-game AD is capable of. I just feel like you can take it to the bank that it won't. We're gonna hit some better competition in a couple games. Let's see how they look mid-December.
