Game 13: Kings (7-5) vs Wolves (6-6) [IST Game #1]

Post#1 » by codydaze » Sat Nov 16, 2024 1:18 am

First game of the In Season Tournament group play stage against the Wolves who were also in our group last year. No Monk again and Derozan is doubtful with back tightness. It was a close game the first time we matched up and Wolves have dropped some games they probably should have won lately so let's hope it's not a get right game for them tonight and we can take care of business on our home floor.

tough and annoying game to watch when you are down needed personnel......

Brown has taken out some of the junk in Fox's game, he's not as perimeter oriented lately, and making him shoot closer to the basket on those half drives. which is helping his in/out game.

I go back and forth on Huerter/Keon since Keon has been a bit better in the regular season and Kevin has games like these too often (though I'd still lean Huerter for his BBIQ at this point and Kevin has actually been somewhat solid on d).... ultimately we need Carter to pan out though

Kings franchise record 60 for Fox but just didn't have enough as a team to get it done without Demar and Monk. Valiant effort and there were some good things I saw tonight but that's just the way it is sometimes when you're undermanned. Wolves played a great game too.

Fox with a 60 piece! It’s a shame that the rest of the team looked poor. Missing open shots.

I’m not a big fan of Brown using challenges poorly in his stint with the Kings.

If you still believe Keegan’s a good shooter than you also believe in Santa clause and Tyreke being the goat after his rookie year

Keegan is your beef tonight? 14/10
Huerter was 0/3 with 4pts and -21 box score. Lost on defense the whole game.

Strange

No beef just pointing out the obvious we had all talked ourselves into believing he was an elite shooter.
