Re: Game 13: MIN at SAC
A win is a win but cmon.....19-2 stretch in the 4thQ ?
Randle is very bad some time...
And Finch? 8 man rotation this game too? DDV on the bench in last possessions?
We won but we will not go far if we don't change something.

Despite a bad 4th qtr, this is the first game of the season that this team looked like last year's team.

Ant saved our asses in overtime, Finch is too blame for
It even going there. Bad coaching decision after bad decision. He gets like shell shock or something when an opponent makes a huge run.

Finch let them go on that huge run without changing things up. Finch gets stubborn as a coach and it usually hurts him. that run was like 21-3 at one point. lucky to win it. ANT!!!

I think we are using DDV wrong. I remember him more of a spot up shooter playing off Brunson's game. I see him dribble and try to create too much with Wolves. Most of the time he drives to the basket, it doesn't end well.

Re: Game 13: MIN at SAC
That was a traveshamockery (travesty, sham, and mockery.) We blew a 20 point lead, gave Fox a 60 piece, and barely won despite them missing DDR and Monk. To agree with Jon K “we really are a bad team right now.” Winning is better than losing, but this was a true double bagger. For those of you who don’t watch Dexter, one bag for the ugly partner, and another for yourself because you cannot stand to look at them.
P.S. A movie gets rated R for dropping 2 f bombs, but Ant can say fuc*ing on FDSN. I say we follow Ant’s example and say fuc*ing whenever we want, just saying.

LOL all the people who complained about Towns in years past are absolutely losing their crap over Randle now. Sheesh.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

At least you were right about Conley. He is still our best PG by far

Meltdown very much achieved, cataclysm averted. We melted all the way down, but survived the aftermath.

I would love to pair a guy like Fox with Ant. Long shot of course but what would it cost to get him? If I’m not mistaken, he didn’t sign his extension right?

Fox was fantastic, could not miss a shoot. We put Jaden, Ant , NAW on him ( not even wanna talk about Randle...) but he got one night where you just can't stop it. WE fight and manage to come back. Great win, hope it helps for the confidence. We play really well the first 3 quarters. Go Wolves!

McDaniels has not been consistent defender this season. Although today is a good example why team defense is more important as individual defense. Or better, good defense means: good defensive scheme + ability to change defensive scheme based on matchups (adjust) + ability to execute (individual defense + chemistry + effort)
Right now MIN have only defensive talent aka individual defense

Re: Game 13: MIN at SAC
I feel like the season would have been lost if we hadn’t won last night’s game in overtime.
The last three losses have been very demoralizing, but last night, giving up a 16 point lead in the fourth quarter in just 4 minutes, would shake the team’s confidence so they wouldn’t trust themselves or their teammates. Also, a loss would have pushed us to 6-7, a losing team that the players have no experience with. Hard for that not to stick with competitive young men.
Thank god we won, and the season continues its journey.

Yes, I feel like we were heading into a repeat of 04-05 season (44-38) but maybe worse like 38-44.

Unfortunately the only way to get Fox would be trading Ant for him.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
