Didnt we just though?

No. The NBA Cup game was on the first night of the BTB.

Wouldn't cup feel more important if it's only played every second year or so?

This thing just doesn't seem to be important to anybody, especially not fans.

Interest will pick up again near the end of round 1 when the eliminations begin. I think there will still be a lot of hype around the cup final.

It be hypocritical if we dont talk about bets.

I mean eyriq bet our mod that AB would get more PT than Cole ( was that the bet??? Lol

Swriously though. The leagur clamped down hard on Johntay Porters betting but announcing that news while be advertised by betting sites was kinda funny

Charitable bets are always fun.

I can't see how call doesn't get traded at the trade deadline

The real trick isn't whether we want to keep Cole...it's whether some other org sees something that our staff clearly doesn't believe in anymore - especially with his extension. Something with BRK, possibly based on Schroder makes sense to me. I don't think UTA would value him and his deal, considering their gang of young ones. Maybe POR, as a less expensive Simons in the third guard role. Maybe ATL, as Bufkin hasn't really provided anything - he certainly couldn't be on the floor with Trae, but maybe as his backup? I was thinking DEN, if Westbrook deteriorates as a secondary playmaker. I don't think MIL has a bench PG other than the kid they drafted that looks about 12.

Personally, I think Cole would really benefit playing on a bad team and getting more opportunities (which is exactly what he did here a couple of years ago) to get his mojo back. He's still really young, good health, fantastic teammate and freak athlete. Somebody should give him a shot...but I think his time here is drawing to a close. I just hope we can move him before the league condemns him as a non-player.

Cole is trade filler at this point. He is an expiring contract next year. His contract will have little impact in another team’s decision IMO.

Denver is playing well and is 6th in the western conference. They could end up in the play-in and getting bumped from the playoffs.

Hopefully, Booker wears himself out against the Twolves.

I think Randle got the hometown clock. It looked like he took 2 dribbles with 1.9 seconds on the clock and shot a game, winning 3.

Edit: They changed it to 2.7 seconds before the play. I was hoping the Suns would win today. Now, tomorrow night will feel like a must win.

if only anger = made shots.

Would be nice if they exhaust themselves from said anger on a B2B, we just need to contain Booker (and Grayson to some degree) and hopefully our offense can give us enough juice.

Portland looks like they are turning into a good team. Robert Williams is playing better than he did prior to the injury. Simons and Ayton may not ever make it back into the rotation.

POR will sell off Time Lord quickly, before he goes down again. He’s an awesome player, but maybe a bigger injury risk even than Isaac (was?)

He is bench 6'8 center who is injury prone. Fool's gold.
