He looks like his floor is a more fluid Rashard Lewis.

Demin looks like the kind of guy who can run an offense nicely too if he's got shooting around him. I haven't seen much of Harper (and he seems like a tough evaluation), but things seem promising even if we don't get Flagg, but can snag a pick around 5, yeah.

#1 Flagg/Bailey
#2 Bailey/Flagg
#3 Dylan Harper
#4 Tre Johnson
#5 Egor Demin

I could see that as the top 5 right now. After that, seems like a crapshoot of Maluach, VJ, Traore, Knueppel.

Since this is already a negative thread then doesn't a double negative make it a positive?

I'll show myself out lol.

Tank can't be stopped right now.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

How am I being negative? Most lottery sims have us dropping to fifth. I get we all want Cooper or Bailey, but I'm wondering what other players besides the top picks should we be looking at?

Top 6 are Flagg, Ace, Demin, Tre Johnson, Harper, VJ. Guaranteed one of these if we stay where we are.

The worst teams in the league have like a 14% chance at first, you can't get better than that. Most lottery sims have that because it's slanted that way mathematically.

Ace looks poor defensively and a bit slow footed, which may be why he doesn’t drive that often. I initially thought it was due to weak handles. Maybe it’s a bit of both. It was also his first game back, so we’ll see.

I’m not the biggest Cooper fan either, but both Cooper and Ace are compelling due to their size.

My favorite so far has been Harper, but he needs a lot of polishing on O. For some reason, I’d be low key happier with Dylan/Tre than Cooper/Ace.

Coop’s athleticism/length isn’t really jaw dropping like the high school highlights indicate and he got stripped rather easily so i feel he may have small hands as well. I mean, nit picky stuff but obviously that makes a difference when you talk about super star or perennial star.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Show me another player that's been #1 in two drafts. He's been vetted more than anybody in this draft.

To me he’s the best size to skill ratio of the candidates and I’m most interested to see his combine results/measurements.

Yeah, the combine could put Ace over Flagg. I'd be so giddy if we get either of these guys though.

Just for context.

Besides the Jazz, Raptors and Wizards, none of the other teams are really trying to tank because they’ve already tanked so much. Add the Nets to the group eventually too though. Pretty good year to successfully land a top 5 pick with so many bad teams trying to make the leap to become somewhat competent like the Pistons, Blazers and Hornets.

Rutgers is in the Big Ten conference so they’ll have games against quality opponents like Ohio State, Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, UCLA, USC. They also have non conference games against Top 10 teams like Houston and Alabama. Plenty of chances to see Ace and Harper against good competition

The only thing that stands in Flagg's way of being a superstar is his jumper.

Some make an inaccurate comparison to Scottie (who's a much better passer) but Flagg is already way ahead in creating off the dribble but still his issue is he's not a reliable shooter at this point. But if (maybe when) his jumper improves he has all the other intangibles to be a star. If he can get his 3pt shooting over 36+% and have a good pull up in the mid-range then he can become a superstar, if not he should still be at least an all-star level player.

I don't know why it is people think he can't shoot. I think it's the highlight packages, they show Ace shooting a lot, and Cooper dunking.

Both are going to be 40% at some point in their career.
