To this day, Wilder vs Stiverne 2 is probably the funniest fight I've ever witnessed. Stiverne talked a bunch of trash, pissed Wilder off, and this was the result:

gave him that gangsta lean

Also… to this DAY!
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

He got tuned up early and lost his legs. He’s about 60.

And I remember what he looked like when he walked away from the fight game… decades ago. Had nothing left THEN.

I remember this  !!!! If I recall Stiverne threatened to legit kill Wilder, and ended up using the bottom rope as a pillow.

Stay humble. There's two guys who i wouldn't take a direct hook to the head from for all the money on earth: 20 year old Mike Tyson and Prime Deontay Wilder. I'd rather be hit by a car

When Lennox Lewis put Mike to sleep on his feet, he was absolutely cooked as a professional. That was 22 years ago. Him looking bad should have surprised no one yet there were people actually throwing down cash on Tyson. if the odds were worth it i would have slapped down money on Paul without thinking twice.

This is another reason why I didn't even bother, watching, knew it wasn't going to be anything remotely watchable. Mike is damn near a senior citizen.

The money is the money, so i get it. But if Paul wants to continue to be a spectacle fighter he needs to fight someone that isn't nearly 40 years older than him.

It is not necessary to ask why did anyone think there was any point to this event, because

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

and the fact that there are that many people willing to pay to see it

Our culture is getting so rancid that nostalgia for a great boxer has people kidding themselves they could climb back into the ring at 60 after decades of inactivity

When a society's nostalgia is that stale you can stick a fork in it

I grew up watching boxing during the mid point of the 4 Kings era and when the heavyweight division was the top draw in the sport. It saddens me that spectacle fights are now outdrawing actual professional bouts

Yeah I admit it. I wanna see him get hit so hard that his left eye turns into a purple balloon.

I've never liked this guy or his brother. I respect that he's training and gets into the ring, I feel that way about anyone who throws on the gloves, but that's where it ends.

Edit: to be clear, i don't like him because of that stunt he and Logan pulled over in Japan in one of the suicide forests.

During the in-ring post fight interview, what was the “America, We Are Back!” comment supposed to mean?

Was that some kind of dog whistle? Am I the only one who found that odd?
