Gary Payton II understands the assignment of what it means to be an NBA player.

As a fan of Towns, it would get frustrating watching him make his stupid mistakes at times, outside of that, he brought an extremely positive energy to the team and was a fantastic unifier. Ant became the on court rah rah leader but Towns was absolutely a major part of the chemistry and joy of the team. Losing him has hurt the vibe a lot, the team doesn't feel the same, that is a more intangible aspect to Towns as a player and person but its definitely felt, he brought an energy that is missed.

This is why I'm glad he is here.

1. He made it work with Gobert when people were talking about how it wouldn't
2. He made it work with Edwards when he is now ascending to the top of NBA mountains
3. He is a modern big man
4. Locker room in Minny has been positive like you said.

knicks have to figure out some of the kinks but KAT is a willing participant to adapt.

Yea that's probably the most underported ability of Towns. He will adapt, he has done his whole adult career. In college he was a great shooter but coach Cal didn't want him to shoot, he wanted him to play defense and be more of a traditional big. He didn't use his best skill. On the wolves he has had many different coaches and GM's, more than maybe any other player who stayed on one team, every time a new coach or GM came in they wanted to use him differently or they asked him to take on a new role. He stepped up to the plate every single time.

A lot of stars would have resisted another star coming in at their position, and then the ask of having to change your own position. Towns did it and he was in fact the teammate that embraced Rudy the most. Other guys were complaining about the space or playing with Rudy and how hard it was. Towns didn't do that, he was tossing Rudy lobs. At the same time, Towns's offense was hurt more than anybodies by Rudy joining. The guy is a professional through and through and sets a standard. Its easy to buy in when your top guy (one one of your top guys) does it so quickly.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Imagine wanting to give up Kat for someone who can't even make a J from the ft line.

Absolutely no one wanted to give him 5/310 and I'm a Randle supporter.

Valid.
I'd like to also point out that he also hasn't solved the housing crisis during this stretch.

Fear not. The way he shoot 3's, he'll be laying them bricks himself.

I'm worried there won't be enough with him defying the odds and improving at 20yrs old - shooting 46% from 3 in his last 5 games.

RJ has a thing for playing the Celtics...wow
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

I was about to kick Tatum ass i needed him to get 20 pts for a parlay. Dude had 18 since the end of the 3rd didn't score at all in the 4th. Finally hit a bucket in Overtime.

RJ getting his shot blocked triple teamed to take the lead again. So glad we don’t have to deal with that anymore.
