Raps Deported! Victory Cigar vs TOR 11/16

Post#1 » by bisme37 » Sun Nov 17, 2024 3:42 am

Phew you guys we held off those pesky Canadians and won the big game!

Jays and White and Al and Pritchard and Queta! Tatum huge shot for the OT win!

Holy crap that was way too stressful jeez! Rollercoaster of a game with plenty of annoying moments lol. Glad we got the win!

Cavs Tuesday, Go C's!!

I don't know about you guys/gals but I know I haven't done anything to deserve this suffering. With so many Raptors injured, this was supposed to be a cakewalk. What the heck.

Game was never in doubt. My BP of 190/100 and pulse rate of 120 confirm.

VC to the MVP.

Gave CP to Brown but Horford could've had it too.

A long 3 for a buzzer-beating win is hard to object to when it actually goes in. :)

Indeed, nothing but net!

I feel like Brown getting pushed allowed Tatum to not think and just shoot away as time was running down. No time to second guess, pump fake, or turn into a crowd and take a bad shot.

Once again JT proving that if you doubt him, you'll end up with an egg on fact moment.

It's a good thing it's Scal and Drew calling the game.

If it's Mike Breen, it would be BANG!, BANG!, BANG!

Guess that would be considered an MVP shot, huh?

Watching games against bad teams this year has been like watching paint dry

I think we still need to find our spark. It’s not that they aren’t playing to win, it’s just somethings not clicking consistently this season.

That's why I don't mind JT chucking all those 3s because sooner or later the Celtics will need him to make a shot like that to win the game.

It feels like every team has given the Celtics their best shot (except the Knicks, lol) and the Celtics haven't responded that well

The price we pay for an opportunity to repeat as champs.

It's complacency.

A team win
Horford, PP and Hauser turned the table when TOR were up, Queta with a big block, Brown played good and got screwed by the refs all game long and JT with the winning basket

This should have been a walk in the park. Too many easy baskets for TOR. Poeltl playing like Chamberlain. We need to play better defense and close our paint better
At times it seemed like TOR are getting easy baskets and we need to carve in stone each one

Tatum's buzzer-beater was magnificent, but Brown's three with one minute left in OT was almost as good.
