Out of curiosity...

Do folks on this board realize that the majority of Iranians support Israel and not their own government? Likewise, were you guys aware that there's been large celebrations in Lebanon and Syria when they announced that Israel had taken out Nasrallah?

Just want to see what the media has been showing (or not showing) folks.

Social media has removed people’s ability to comprehend anything outside of good vs bad guys or my side vs not my side.

Lot of those videos were debunked (they were rehashed from 2020 protests). Lot of those media outlets had to delete the tweets/videos because of it.

I'm not sure if "most Iranians support Israel and not their own government". We know that there's a sizeable portion of Iranians not supporting their current government, but that doesn't mean in turn they support Israel. You can protest both.

We as Americans, should know that there probably isn't a country out there anymore where there isn't large groups protesting the leading government body.

Doubt that's true. Seems like Russian mind games.

Putin and Bibi are pretty close. If I were Iran, I would not trust Russia. Especially when it comes to anything related to Israel. I think like 35% of "Israelis" are actually Russian.

Russia Iran cooperation agreement. I think that there are economic strategic reasons why there is cooperation. Isn’t Iran one of the BRICS nations?

I think it's a step too far to say they support Israel, but many Iranians condemmed the Hamas attacks. Neutral towards Israel is probably more accurate. It's true that most Iranians don't support their government and they want a democracy. Don't know if that'll happen anytime soon though. And if America is used as an example, democracies don't always work.

What's often overlooked in the US is the hostility that some parts of the Muslim middle east have towards other parts. Isis and Al Queda, for example, dislike each other.

where did you get this information?

Google will verify a lot of it, though as I said, I think "support" is too strong a word, but Iranian citizens feel much more neutral towards Israel than you'd expect and they dislike their government.

The Iranian government however, condemns Israel every chance they get.
