Luck not on our side anymore. Still it was an entertaining game and there was a lot of good to see.

Are you kidding me? We deserved to loose after that last sequence where we couldn't hit the gamewinner, but that was such an obvious offensive foul that has not been called. I wrote somendays ago, that a foul should always be called, especially in the crucial last seconds.

Up 114 to 107 with 2 min remaining and we blew the game. My heart hurting badly right now.

Against the Kings - the Suns didn't get good shots

today, again, they didn't take good shots

too much milking the clock and they have to take a bad shot
booker missing the rim was huge

but that was an obvious push off by Randle
if you are going to call Allen a few trips before -you call that

But the Suns have too many empty possessions in these close games

I'm not too upset with this game, or the last. We were outmatched in both offensive and defensive talent but we at least made this a real game we could've won on the road. Some poor execution in the end but it was always going to be tough executing with the level of talent around Book in the clutch. Book played 40min, took almost 30 shots, put up 44 while the Wolves had a rotation of defensive dudes like McDaniels and DDV to throw at him all game. This is the kind of output and attempts I expected of Book when we're down on offensive talent.

Won't take anything away from Randle for hitting that 3 to win it all

We are much better than this new Wolves team, they needed one of Randle's best games of his career to win this one at their home and in the last second.

Randle scored a RIDICULOUS 3P shot to end the first half and then his last shot (after a clear offensive foul) when he isn’t a pure 3p shooter at all.

We were missing KD and Beal and they were at full strength.

I am worried about Nurkic because his production after his injury is terrible. All time low. He had some very good games and then he damaged his ankle and after coming back he is just a big piece of meat on the court.

Book played a TERRIFIC game. Tyus and Allen played well and a nice surprising game from Oso.

We can't win every close game but we deserved this one. I loved our defense in the 1st quarter.

Not sure if you've kept up with Randle but 35/4/7 is far from one of his best games. He had something like a 20 game stretch last season where he averaged almost 30ppg. He also put up 57pts two seasons ago. It was a very good but not some legendary Julius Randle game.

Outside of that, I agree with you. This was a game we really shouldn't have much business being in with injuries to 2 of our key starters but we fought, Book fought to make this a game we could've won.

With KD out RO's 3pt shooting is important but he's regressed there - 8/29 in last 5. We can talk about Book missing shots at the end, but there was a stretch when Royce missed three wide open 3s that mean a lot in such close game. Otherwise a lot of positives from the rest of the role players. I liked the ball movement in this game. Hope it stays the same with KD and Beal back. Great to see Booker find his mojo. Not only offensively, but he was on Ant for most of the game. Need this version of him and good contribution from the role players to keep KD and Beal minutes down once back.

People need to temper expectations, with KD and Beal out Grayson Allen is probably our biggest scoring weapon next to Book. When he was out, it was probably Tyty Washington? Tyus Jones?

Remove the best 3 out of 4 scorers on any team in the middle of a tough road trip and they're going to struggle.

The equation is simple, we look good when healthy, but we're and not going to make any noise in the playoffs if we're dealing with major injuries.

The goal should be to be healthy come playoff time, and to finish top 6 during the regular season.

Agreed. I was casually watching the game while doing homework, but I was surprised how well the Suns played. I don't agree with the no-call at the end there, but at least the game was competitive, and the Suns ran a new starting lineup that wasn't half bad. In the 90's that is totally a normal lineup by the way.

Yeah, the Wolves haven't been great. They recently lost two in a row to the Blazers. They did beat the Kings, but DeRozan was out.

Was gonna watch the game after work but Facebook suns page spoiled the score. Probably still put it on and it will be less of a bummer knowing we lost and apparently the officiating was a sh*tshow.
