Jags through the first 9 weeks were averaging 21.7 ppg

Never scored less than 10 points in a game, only scored less than 20 once in the last 6 games

Through 2 weeks without Trevor, they've scored 1 total touchdown and have not cracked the 10 point barrier

I know he's not as good as was promised but those Daniel Jones comparisons are not holding up.

Almost felt like the Chargers of old in the 2nd half, but Herbert, McConkey and Dobbins were solid on that final drive. They had some fortune with missed FGs, but also some misfortune with a roughing the passer wiping out an interception an a couple other things.

Big win for them though. And they were missing some very important players like Khalil Mack, Asante Samuel Jr, and their secondary is pretty banged up overall. They are playing two 5th round rookies, though both are playing pretty well.

No idea how Baalke keeps getting jobs. He is like Doc Rivers, had brief success riding coattails of someone else but actually horrible at his job.

He got this job because Urban Meyer wanted him as GM

I'm not even kidding. Shad refuses to clean house no matter what, I'm convinced he's gonna give Baalke at least one more year.

Former Dallas Cowboy Connor Williams had been the starting Center but did not play well & was a liability for the team. He was coming off the ACL he suffered last December. He lost weight this offseason & routinely was getting beat in pass pro. Along with the snapping issues, it was a real problem. The team wanted to move him to Right Guard during the Bye week, but apparently he wasn't up for it & decided to instead retire lol.

Olu Oluwatimi (backup Center) is a 2nd year player out of Michigan. He won the Rimington award in college. So, there is potential there with him. But he's still somewhat unproven. He kind of had an underwhelming preseason/camp tbh.

Fwiw their starting Right Tackle Abe Lucas came back & made his first start yesterday (offseason knee surgery).

So yes, they still have real issues at Right Guard. An unproven Center & a starting Right Tackle with a reoccurring knee issue that could hinder him going forward. That's essentially 3/5 of your OL with uncertainty week to week. Not a great outlook.

Getting to make 3 #1 overall picks and 3 head coach hires in 5 years for the same team is diabolical work.
