Not like Jrue sniffed any success off on his own. He became valuable as a complimentary piece being brought in on a trade. He took another 5-6 years to fully realize his talent.

Yeah but he dragged a team that fielded Spencer Hawes & Evan Turner to the 2nd round and got just as close to the ECF as Embiid did lol

And the next year or so after the Heatles came into existence and then the Warriors came along. Sixers would have been treadmilling.

Even though I am only being half way serious with my OP, what exactly do we call this? To me this is just an elite level of treadmilling. Good enough to turn heads in the regular season but absolutely no shot the really make a run in the playoffs

The only reason to watch is to see (future) superstar Jared McCain continue taking over the team. Hoping he goes for 30+.

Time's yours...

https://www.espn.com/nba/game/_/gameId/401704811/76ers-heat
McCain is turning into the next Herro but with less range, as they will face each other tonight. That is high praised as a prolific scorer in this league like Tyler was as a rook! If McCain come off the bench as a rook, he should win the 6th man award at this pace. Book it!

Yikes is this a bad take. Herro wasn't good as a rookie and it's taken him years and I'm still not sure he has the poise and control that McCain has and what range do you think Herro has that McCain doesnt?
We will watch who will be better tonight. Tyler range is better now but if I was bias, McCain has better range. I just try to be impartial.

Go Sixers!

also lol @ the Kings who hadn;t made the playoffs in a decade lapping us lol.

The fact that we are even allowed to be upset about second round exits shows the difference between the eras. We expect to be contenders...then we'd be okay with not getting swept.

More than Embiid, Paul George better start doing something or he's going to start getting a lot more attention soon. He's being paid too much to be sub 40% shooter.

But yea unless he's genuinely sick with something he should get off his ass and play aka earn his paycheck.

If Embiid is sick, he should not be taking threes.

Isn't easy trying to fit in with 2 guys who see themselves as options 1 & 2 and clearly Nurse told Kyle to run point.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
