Hey, kinda want to make a thread that's an "all-star/all-nba/end of season awards" watch thread for the Knicks, but don't know what to call it. If someone else would make it, go for it.

Brunson and KAT are likely all-stars and All-NBA this season. Both are MVP candidates.

OG, Bridges, and Hart should be up for awards too. They're a long-shot for the all-star game, but at least one of them has a shot at making it. Bridges is the least likely cause he's just averaging 16/4/4 which is good, but just not all-star caliber. All 3 guys could make all-defensive team appearances.

Would also discuss players from other teams and see how our players are stacking up.

If it's something that is thread-worthy then me or someone else should make the thread.

Wednesday is a big test. Orlando just beat Phoenix.

Suns are on a 4 game losing streak.

Last thing Phoenix wants is to lose their 5th game in a row at home on ESPN.

Knicks have until Wednesday to study the scouting report on Booker and the Suns. We have the personnel in the starting lineup to overwhelm them offensively.

Suns are capable of keeping the game close even with Booker scoring less than 20 points, and no Durant, Beal, or Nurkic.

Knicks need to go into Phoenix and devour their souls.

I'm not a betting man... but I have a strong feeling the same people who clown Cam Payne's appearance would also likely be willing to bang a girl who looks like Cam Payne... under the right circumstances. :nod:

Brunson is rediscovering how to use his penetration skills to set up his teammates.

Brunson the point guard is whom this team needs now.

Besides, his shots will fall more regularly the less he focuses on generating shots for himself.

Ok. I see you Sims. Finally after years in the league he looked like an NBA player. Hope he can build off of this. He has had ample opportunities to show something and tonight is the first time I don't have anything negative to say about him. He fuqqing murdered someone on a screen tonight that had me rolling. Surprised no one even mentioned that yet. It was beautiful to see. Someone roll the clip! :rofl:

Great game from everyone. Basically. Kolek and Huk could have iced the cake if they played a little better but, rookies can't all shine at the same time.

This team is clicking on offense and when we get Deuce and Precious back the defense should be better as well.

Thibs pulling the starters after three quarters was the greatest thing he's done in a long time! I am impressed. He still managed to panic a little when a 30 point lead shrank to 24 or whatever but, it was great to see him play all the rookies with Cam and Sims with 12 minutes left in the game. I never thought I would live to see the day that happened.

I still saw a lot of contact go unchecked against us again but, it didn't matter. We are beating the refs to the punch recently and it is a thing of beauty to watch.

The last two games were a great step in the right direction. Handling bum ass teams with ease and not collapsing in the fourth quarter is nice to see. This road trip is a good early test on how much we are putting things together. I'll settle for a 3-2 road trip but, I really want more! I can't help it! I think we have a contender without making any trades. We just need everyone healthy. We will be able to play with anyone on both ends if that happens.

I can't say enough about how much better this team can be than last year. KAT/Bridges/Payne are the exact pieces we needed once Shart left and Julius didn't sign his extension. This FO is brilliant. Best I've ever seen in my time as a fan.

the nets and wizards are not world beaters, but the former have been overperforming under a new coach and with cam thomas taking a step forward. i think beating them twice was good reps towards getting this thing humming

He has been doing on court work as of last Monday but, wasn't cleared for practice. That's the only update other than he will travel with the team. If we can get him and Deuce back at 100% the depth/bench should be awesome. Especially if Sims can play like he did tonight. I am hoping this is the beginning stages of him becoming a real bench piece. I know it was against the Wizards but, maybe the confidence boost can get him going after years of looking like a D Leaguer.

Deuce/Payne/Precious/Sims would force Thibs to expand the rotation to 9 players and, if we ever get Mitch back it's on like Donkey Kong! We are deep on paper. Just need everyone healthy at the same time!!

Losing that 4th quarter lead and having to win with a last chance three and a block as time expired started the train rolling. We beat them the second time fairly easy and demolished the Wiz on the second night of a B2B. Positive signs that things are coming together. This road trip is the next test of how much we are improving.
