We are still better than them even without porzingis. Let’s be real the east this year is very watered down. Their best win was against golden state a team wee alway struggle with. If Celtics bring their A game we win.

Celtics have struggled defending the paint without Porzingis and defending 1 vs 1 against good bigs. Cleveland is the best team in the league shooting inside 3pt line and both guards are very efficient inside as well as their bigs.

Even so, without their wing players it's just gonna be too much for them as far as defending the perimeter.

Heard this on a podcast and I honestly agree, the C's haven't really gotten up for a game yet this year, I feel. Tonight might be what they need to really remember who they are and remind the Cavs/the league who the best team is.

This is the Game Of The Season in the NBA. Celtics are unlikely to sleepwalk through it, like several recent contests, but:

- Cleveland's Allen and Mobley could have Boston's Al-Queta in Gitmo by half time. Large mismatch there...

- This could be bad. The Celtics biggest weakness this season has been interior defense and The Land of Cleve has
the Bigs to exploit this....

- The PP may be intermittent, then they are going to need a dominant performance from Hauser to have some
sort of offensive output off the Bench.

- Has the Trading Deadline arrived yet, so they can move on from Sunk Cost Springer and bring back Walker?

- Tillman might see some ineffective, exploited minutes in this game...

- Celtics are favored by 4.5 points...

Looking forward to the individual matchup everyone's been waiting for -- Pritchard vs. Jerome. This is bigger than Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. So PP better nut up and suit up for tonight.

Other than Game 1 against the Knicks, the Celtics have really just been going through the motions and are still 11-3. I'm interested to see how the Celtics come out tonight. If the Celtics don't come out with any sense of urgency, they will get blown out. The game is that big for the Cavs.

Right yeah agreed - like tonight's game, that Knick's game had some narratives on the line so I'm optimistic for today.

Definitely true but we match up against their backcourt better than any team in the league defensively AND they no wing defenders to throw at the Jays. Will be an interesting game for sure.

Jerome is a heady good decision maker who does well with or without the ball. But he is a Subway turnstile on defense. a healthy PP should lite him up.

I don't think it's about the bigs vs. bigs or wings vs. wings.

The Cavs hunted Al in the playoffs last season.

Some of the Celtic fans wanted Joe to bench Al in that series.

What will happen a lot is the cross matches.

Al will be on Garland and White will be on Allen or Mobley.

That's what we need to watch out for.

Celtics switch everything, so it will not be surprising if Al keeps ending up with Garland and Garland blows by Al.

Jrue - Garland
White - Mitchell
Brown -
Tatum - Mobley
Horford - Allen

Also expect to see some Celtics small ball this game with Tatum and Brown at Center and PF with either Hauser or Pritchard on the court.
