I take no joy in a win this tight against a shorthanded opponent.
Huh? why not?
They beat us earlier in the season at our place with their full squad vs our very short handed team where Nance started and the GL bench? Turn about is fair play.
I felt good after that Pistons loss. We started out horribly but outplayed Detroit for 3 quarters. We were clearly the better team, Trae led a masterclass performance -- we just missed out on a major comeback win on the road.
I felt great after that Knicks win, Dyson and Risacher looked great and we outplayed a hated rival in front of the home crowd. We were clearly the better team.
Last night, Kings looked better than us. D Fox and K Ellis looked unstoppable. The refs swallowed the whistle down the stretch...and we got lucky. I'll take the 'W', but this left me more concerned considering Sabonis and DeRozan were both out injured.
