I mean that would be perfect

I just don't think we need to force anything. Jones is gone. We may not be able to get either Ward or Sanders. If Schoen reaches for a QB that will just be another screw up.

BPA. Which would be Hunter if we cannot land #1 or 2.

then your probably got to move on from Schoen/Daboll this offseason. There will be job pressure to pick a QB...only a new GM and coach probably can get away with a bad season a keep there job for another 2-3 years.

A GM and HC on the hot seat won't have that wiggle room.

I have no issue with that.

I like Daboll, and wouldn't mind seeing what he can do with an actual QB that he can mold and develop, but it is what it is, if Schoen goes, so does he. Maybe Mara values continuity and gives them more rope to hang themselves.

But no matter who is here next spring, we cannot reach for something that's not there. I'd rather get a cheap stop gap, keep Tommy as back up depending on how he looks these next few weeks and just keep obtaining the best talent irregardless of position. Hunter would immediately be CB1 and he'd get snaps on offense too. We cannot pass that up.

Yeah and even when Colorado isn't playing against a top defense, Sanders is still getting sacked a lot. It's a valid concern.

If the QB class is weak, I wouldn't be surprised if they manage to sell Mara on a stopgap while they build up other positions, assuming its established that they are being kept.

I'm really wondering how much of not signing Russell Wilson was Schoen vs. Mara. Everyone involved would be more settled today if he was signed. If it was more of an ownership decision, then I see them getting a slightly longer leash.

I also have no issue taking a QB this year then taking another one the following year, like what AZ did with josh rosen and drafting kyler murray. of course, pending it's someone like arch manning or whoever if they're "can't miss"

Arch not coming out till 27. He said himself he's not entering the NFL until after his senior year. If we tank for a QB next year I'll take Nico in a heart beat though.

The NFL needs a lottery. I hate the system where the team that loses the most just gets their guy in the draft no questions asked. That's too easy a system to take advantage of. The worst team having a 25% chance at the #1 overall is better.

Good guy Danny. Handle it with class. You got life changing money from this club so there's no need for things to become toxic.

It sucks that it didn't work out, because as far as I have seen Danny is a stand up guy and has always been good with teammates. I wish him luck wherever he goes. Might as well ride out the rest of his career as a back up and chill.
