I don't understand the focus on "who" the Bucks should trade. The Bucks should make any trade that significantly makes the team better than they are today. No one is beyond being traded, IF it results in a significant improvement.

Finding such a deal is much more difficult than most posters here acknowledge. It's not just a matter of getting value. Portis for a skilled wing would leave a huge hole in the front court. Giannis for draft capital and filler would return the Bucks to the ranks of wannabes.

How many NBA teams do we expect to trade their way to new found success this trade season?

Regardless of when Brook is done here he's one of my all-time favorites Bucks.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, he's from Maywood... same school as the Brown brothers, Jevon, Michael Finley. I'll never fault somebody from the Chicago area for being a fan of the Bears, but I will laugh and laugh.

Have we ever seen one play where Giannis is bringing the ball up and Dame isn’t standing still? I know he doesn’t have the conditioning to do this always but Dame playing like Steph off ball with giannis bringing it up would be absolutely disgusting to defend.

That's one of the most homeristic Bucks trades I have seen in a while and I approve.

Cam Johnson is one of the few guys who works in a straight swap Brook trade given their identical salaries. Problem is that pretty much necessitates keeping Bobby for any semblance of front court depth. But this is precisely why they should have done something last deadline, or in the offseason when you had some draft assets to trade. Now, it's just so damn difficult to find a trade that works both legally as well as not creating a void elsewhere on the roster. Bobby is the only real obvious piece you can/should move, but the player pool with his salary is much more limited.

Cam makes $625K more than Brook, so a straight swap wouldn't work under 2nd apron constraints.

Ya, now they do this, after I wasted my money seeing the Herd scrubs last Friday. Love the second row seats, though, right near the Ellenson family.

The Herd start this guy, Yor Anei, at center. He may be the worst player in the G league. He's 6'10", but can't buy a rebound, can't jump, has no shot and is always in the wrong place. His presence and the amount of playing time he's getting, has to be an order from Horst for some reason. The coaches were screaming at him the entire game for not being in the right place.

I was impressed with Stephen Thompson from Oregon State. Excellent shooter. The other guy I like is James Akinjo from Baylor. He's everything you'd want from a point guard in terms of understanding the game. Except he can't shoot and is too small.

If you could take AJ Johnson's body and speed and put in Akinjo's brain and handle, you'd almost have an NBA player. Still need to shoot.

Gotta start the rebuild. The inevitable Giannis cancer problem has started. Dude has been too egotistical to take his game more in the paint for years. Thanks for the championship. Get as many of our picks back as we can.
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.

Mke: Donte, 2 2nds
Atl: Bobby
Min: Nance, ‘31 1st (top 8 protected)

Why?

We get a legit two-way player. One who is a high level defender, but also can still do something with the ball in his hands. If Donte is what he was last year, he helps us significantly.

Atlanta reportedly had interest in Bobby in the past, and they aren’t on a strict rebuild timeline with Tre.

Minny needs a backup PG or center. They are off to a slow start, and already have Ant and Naw at sg. Donte has started terribly for them, and maybe they would prefer to patch a different hole and get an asset.

Speaking of Windy, he was really good on Thanasis's pod a couple weeks ago.

Also his 3pt attempts are way down this year. The problem hasn't been what he's doing on ball, it's the willingness and understanding of how to play off ball with Dame.
