His "cause" has always been chasing individual accomplishments anyway.

The reason he was hurt last year was statpadding, pure and simple. Three separate times he went back into blowouts late to chase his 30 point streak, got hurt, and missed the next game. The third time was the big injury.

Patrick Beverley snitched on him. Told the whole world that Embiid refused to rest when advised to and said he had to play against "trash teams" to get to 65 games and win another MVP.

I said Maxey is a leader. I didn’t say he’s capable of leading a team to a championship

Which is a moot point anyway, because a considerably LARGER sample size says neither is Embiid.
