Game 15: Bulls at Bucks - 11/20/24 - 6:30 - ESPN/FDSWI

We lost to these bums at our home opener. Payback time.

Hopefully there's no residual damage from Brook's hard fall.

Go Bucks

As always, please keep trade talk in the trade thread.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Solid measuring stick game for us. Bulls aren’t the same typical and dysfunctional team as years past but they’re still the Bulls so **** ‘em. Let’s get 4 out of 5 and let the good times roll. Bucks in 6

RIP Bob Love, Bulls great from the 1970s (who the Bucks drafted and traded for Flynn Robinson, by the way). He and Chet Walker were a really good pair of forwards.

I hated those long-ago Dick Motta-coached Jerry Sloan-led Bulls, and I'm not too fond of the current edition, either.

Beat them 120-104.

I would like to blow them out, but if we can win on another miracle blocked FG just for Chicago fans to feel it twice in one week I'll take it.

The way forward might be using Brook in the pick and roll... as he catches, have Giannis slashing to the hoop and let Brook have the option to dunk, if he can, dish to Giannis, or even hit a shooter. I think Brook plays slow enough to be able to make that decision without getting a charge (even if he has to stop and keep the ball high).

There was a play where Brook found Portis like that.. I'd rather that be Giannis sneaking in weak side for dunks and layins.. we need more easy buckets from coaching and running multi-dimentional plays

This'll be a pretty good indicator on whether or not Doc has learned his lesson. Bulls legitimately might have the worst defense in the league when you look at their allowed shot profile. They're dead last in 2PT% and attempts allowed, dead last in creating turnovers, and they're only 25th overall because of their jedi mind-trick defense (opposing teams are shooting only 37% on wide open 3's, and 34% overall). We should really stomp them.

A Brook block at the buzzer in a one point game would be amazing.

I don’t know if I can handle the theatrics of another close game after the previous three. Please win this game comfortably.

It would be nice to see the Bucks imposing their will en route to easy wins. I kind of remember that.

Unless Brook's absolutely on fire early, he should be subbed out a few minutes in, & not started the 2nd half. I don't know there's a role for Brook in this game. Their backup (Jalen Smith) is also a shooter.

And you don't need Bobby as your 4 for much of this game either. They start Patrick Williams. But he might be able to bully their real small 4's, so Doc should be watching those match-ups.

Giannis should be in against Vucevic most of the time & attack the crap out of him offensively. Exploit their lack of rim protection. I think how Doc manages the bigs will determine if this is a cruise victory or a white knuckler/possible loss.

Frank Reynolds talking about Chicago for 90 seconds:

Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”
