Pat can be useful in certain situations and he certainly has playoff experience, championship experience. But it's great that on night's where Trent and/or Wright and/or Green and/or AJJ are playing well Pat can sit, like last night. Pat and AJJ were odd men out. Tomorrow night they may need to step in.

It's great that Trent has had 3 straight good games after a disastrous start.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think the best starting lineup w/out Middleton is Dame-Trent-Ajax-Giannis-Brook. Just have Brook & Ajax on a short leash. Give more minutes to Green than Ajax or Trent if AJ's on that night. Prince has been consistently an OK rotation player. He's miscast as starter. Move him back to 7th, w/ or w/out Khris. And he's the small ball 4, which we should go to on nights Brook can't match-up.

Khris returning solves a lot, but he also poses a conundrum of how to get the offense-defense & youth-vet balance right. Then Khris is the 4 in the small ball. Starting lineup would be all vets, & low on d. You start Ajax or Bird, & move Trent to 6th-7th man?

You guys are missing a section. Coaches create plays with some back cuts and off ball screens for easy dunks and layups. Making Giannis dunk through people and Dame drive into contact for and 1s every play isn't going to make things easier vs a playoff intensity defense. Coaching needs to engineer a few of those that work for easy points and gives teams something to worry about which will free up more open shooters and 1v1s.

This simple A B stuff will get us through the regular season again but we need some smart coach to step up here or let's add a guy

I feel like coaches should run the easy dunks play every time, it's insane that these are pro coaches

If I was the defense though I would simply run the no easy dunks play

Lol ok bro... it's something like pick and roll Dame gets it to Brook.. lobs to AJJ who cuts to the basket as his guy looks away.

We don't have anyone cutting.. it's stand there and watch ball. Even when we had Dez Mason he'd get a couple lobs per game.

Guarantee if we're tied with .9 left we'd have a play to lob it to Giannis on a back cut.. why not sporadically do that a couple times per game so teams have to worry about it.. then the counter is to kick it to the corner

In my defense I'm like 5'8 and wish I could jump half as high as AJJ or GA... feels like we should use it more

Lob city Clippers always a guy cutting right down the paint then if he didnt get it he turned into a post up or rebounder.. why do we run stand around ball... make it look like we're trying to manufacture something easier

Difficult marketing campaign.

Come to milwaukee, the place where your 3pt shot will die.

I feel like the packers and bucks walked away with some wins that's like.... Ya I don't know how but it's a W.

Both opponents had incredible opportunities for a walk off score and both flubbed it.

Doesn't seem to happen much in WI but was nice for a change.

Why don't we simply just keep outscoring the other teams?

Do we have people who have the mind of people who don't have a good mind?

I'd like to see the degree of difficulty of our shots compared to other teams. Wasn't that the Pelicans who had like 6 alley oops against us? I'm just saying
we have to work for easier shots, cut, move the ball, find cutters, etc

I'm not disagreeing with you, our offense has looked like hard work whenever Giannis has led it, likely because of how he plays stylistically, he's more smash and grab than most of the NBA.

But I'm not missing an opportunity to jump on Em's amusing paraphrasing of your original post, or being able to weave in a SneakyPete reference.

We just had a 3 game stretch where we had good ball movement and wide open 3s all game, but then something changed this last game. I wonder what it was?

We played a top 3 defense in the league?

If I was the coach of the Bears, I'd have at least ten wins.

You think they were their usual self on a back to back on the road? Didn't feel like it.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
