Even if you concede that the paint is clear with Demar gone giving more room for Vuc to operate, it still doesn't carry weight because
A) his shot chart isn't really changed as another poster pointed out
and
B) he's getting those same wide-open 3s he got last year, he's just making them now. That has literally nothing to do with Demar or anyone else other than Vuc himself.
He's also not blowing 2-3 bunnies per game either, something that also has nothing to do with Demar.
It's just scapegoating. Vuc is just playing better this season, period, and he is the one who deserves credit for that, not Demar's departure.
Demar being gone is not the sole reason but it has helped him and its not as if it was done to intentionally hurt Voochs game but was moreso just the way we had to play with the pieces we had .
Vooch plays the entire court on offense but before he came to the Bulls he was a Center/Left high volume scorer but one of his greatest strengths is that he can literally screen and make shots from anywhere but with Demar half the floor was cut off because Demar preferred the Center/left half of the court as well now add in that Demar was not a 3pt shooter and that court is condenses even more for not only Vooch for everyone .
This year cut and you can get an easy basket
Last year dont cut because you may bring an extra defender to Demars area .
At the end of the day you still have to make your shots but there is no doubt that Demar being gone has opened up some things that we haven't been able to do before
