It was a good defensive performance, we just gave up too many offensive rebounds. Had we rebounded slightly better they barely score 90.

that goes the other way too.
2 more 3s made and a few FTs and we lose.

That's any game.... Well close one at least. It's not like every night is a lopsided win in the league. These are professional players. Any given night the matchup could be right.... Shots are falling... Shots are missing.... And even a contender can lose to someone that is going to be looking at Cooper Flagg next summer.

This was Isaac's worst defensive game of the last 5 games by far for me despite the 3 Blocks. This game you saw again the negative impact of the added weight. He defended more on the perimeter this game than in the last games and you could see hat he can't stay in front of real sf anymore.

I saw this on ESPN today and thought of your post!

Towns, who's surrendered a 73.3% field goal percentage within six feet on defense, is providing less statistical resistance than any big man in the league right now. It's clearly something he and the Knicks will need to improve in order to reach their lofty goals.

Whoof...

Yep, great offensive player, crappy defender.
Crazy thing about him is that he went 1# over Okafor mostly because of - defense

The favorite part of the game was Goga blocking Royce after the flagrant foul. Goga stood over him, and Mosely was telling Goga to run down the court.
