Any NBA player should be a deity amongst men in summer pro league games.

I’ve always liked Beasley’s pull-up jumper, he shoots it fast and with a slight fade, making him hard to guard.

That said, bombing on bums in Miami doesn’t really mean anything.

It's a shot he rarely attempts, because he's nowhere near good enough at it to do so on volume. Very few players are worthy of routinely attempting that shot.

This past season was the first in which he reached anywhere near the halfcourt efficiency threshold on pullup twos, and he sank only 25 of them in 79 games. Only five of those makes were fadeaways.

Who cares about him about not being a plus defender. We need spacing for Cade to operate and get better.

Never knew he had ties to the city. That's interesting.

Under the rules he should be able to sign an extension but he would be crazy to do so right now. I think the rules for extensions are a max 15% raise from the current contract. He will get a lot more than a 15% raise if he waits until the off-season.

Serious question; is he a starter?? Not just right now, but for his next contract.

Long term we want to get Ausar/Ron into the lineup. Is Beasley a perennial 6th man? Start games with defense, but he's still top 4 or 5 in mpg and frequently finishes games.

Is that the role he wants? Is someone going to pay him to start, or is he Malik Monk? I really dunno.

Maybe Ivey is the 6th man? This can still go a lot of different ways. But it's a good problem to have.

Beasley strikes me as a "I love coming in, and shooting instantly" type of guy. He loves it, and he feasts on bench guys.
