This supports my theory that defense in the NBA is actually just imaginary. You can dribble to the rim and score at will on every play if you really want and there’s nothing that can be done within the rules to stop that. The only reason players don’t do it is because they have not yet realized it’s imaginary like the matrix. Josh Hart might be the only player who has realized “there is no spoon”. Like what are they gonna do about it? Block you? Hahah good one

Watching KAT every game he is an amazing player to have on offense. Was he like this in Minny or did he get better here, because I think the trade would have been looked at more favorably at the time if he always played like this.

He played like this but the paint was more clogged with Rudy. He always put up numbers. Defensively he wasn't good at the 5 and there were always more physical bigs in the West. He has it wasy in the east where othwr than the Cleveland boys and Vucevic there aren't a lot of physical big men.

Morning thoughts.

1. Thibs has created an elite offense. Second straight game with 40 or more in the 1st quarter. Another game with 30 more assists. GIVE HIM CREDIT!

2. Brunson just owns the Suns. He was hitting everything! I think he made his first 7 or 8 shots. And also finished with another 10 assists. BuT a DrOoLing anD sHakiNg agGo saYs tRadE hiM!

3. It's infuriating to read the clowns who just trashed and wanted him traded now say how good he is. Hop off! Y'all an embarrassment! Specifically guano, Da Gawd, KnicksGmen, FN, GA...Jesus there are too many of you to remember!!

5. Hart is a legendary Knick and motivates me to join an adults league so I can just rebound, hustle and shoot threes.

Orlando came back down to earth tonight. That roster is loaded with overachievers. What is their identity other than Banchero and Franz Wagner?

They are a good YOUNG team. I didn't think we had to worry about them but, they will be better than years past. I also don't think the Cavs are as good as their record either. Just benefitting from continuity early in the season and better coaching.

I believe when we get our bench back we are gonna be the 1-2 seed in the end. The rest of the East doesn't scare me. We are coming for Boston if what we saw last night becomes the norm. We will be better on defense with Deuce/Precious/Mitch back healthy. That's a problem for everyone else.
