Wait till Mitch/Precious come back . They are already playing better defensively as chemistry is starting to set in last few. It will get even better with an elite rim protector

That was 2019
Fast forward 5 years
And we Have KAT, OG, Brunson, Mikal, Hart, and still have the best player remaining from that previous lot in Mitch Rob. Now coached by Thibs
Leon Rose came and built a winner from top down, just incredible what he did in only 5 years

Happy that the talent is shining through, but haven't changed me feelings on Thibs one bit, either. Everything I was concerned about is still concerning to me.

What an elite role player to have. This team has a special offense right now.
I cant say this enough....
The Heat with Bosh Bron and Wade started 9-8. Wade and Bron couldnt figure out how to play off each other early. About 15 games in Wade takes the alpha role and fricken the rest is history.
The teams construction is about as ideal as it gets for a Thibs system except ONE thing ...they need a true elite backup rim protector. Mitch is THAT CAT. Precious will help somewhat here as well. Now can he stay healthy? Or do you try and still trade for Kessler or Poetl?
i'd argue another 3&D wing is more important than a back up rim protecting big. solely for keeping jHart/og/bridges healthy. if we could get another serviceable wing in the mix to limit these guys mins and help keep em fresh for a playoff run it would be ideal.

Precious is a 4/5. He can backup OG and the domino effect will help. Deuce added to the bench will also help. Pac is still a rookie but he can offer a couple of minutes here and there. Ryan is still here. Sims is still here. We are as deep as ever and, deeper than most teams in the league at full strength.
I don't think we need to trade anyone at all. Just staying healthy will take this team to another level on both ends of the ball. They will be a problem for everyone in the league. I think we need to see far more from this bench before we start talking trades and needs. Even with Mitch being injury prone, which is the only reason we talk about trading him.
Deuce/Payne/Precious/Mitch is a problem. Stagger any starter you want with that group and we are a bigger problem. Kolek/Pac/Ryan/Sims/Huk are the in case of emergency third string. Any one of them can fill in off the bench at times. We haven't even seen that McCullar kid yet either.
We good. Let's roll!

Guess making the playoffs 3 out of 4 years after only making it 4 out of the previous 20 years doesn't matter. Or adapting to the league and personnel either, right?

Ideally since KAT is a bit injury prone himself I'd want to spin Mitch for a guy like Poetl or figure out how to get Kessler here. I want a less injury prone rim prtoector.

He doesn't like losing to the Knicks(because he's soft and ran his mouth when he got to Brooklyn)even when he's not playing, he looked ticked. It don't bother me none.

It's kind of wild to be a Thibs team with a super efficient offense (2nd in offensive rating) but a terrible defense (21st in defensive rating)
The dead last pace kinda shows it though lol
Thibs is like Randle was gonna be this year to me. I kinda don't really care about what he shows in the regular season, it's all about playoffs.
