Jokic never got the chance to play in the weak East like LeBron did.
Only one of the two has the PER and BPM records, and it's not LeBron.
Lebron's time at the top of the league is over. The Lakers are AD's team now. The MVP standard isn't LeBron it's Kareem, who won five MVPs with one ring. There are no more Kendrick Perkins excuses to deny Jokic this year and it's clearly Jokic's award to lose at this point. Bron or his history aren't part of the equation.
Jokic has never had a current All Star teammate on any of his teams. The first three of Lebron's rings came with two All Star teammates apiece and the fourth Cracker Jack Box Bubble title came with All Star AD in the most outlier environment possible.
Jokic carried a team to a title with no All Star help, went through LeBron to do it, did it after getting robbed of an MVP and became the only person in NBA history to lead an entire playoffs in Total PTS, REB, AST and WS.
When LeBron does that, get back to me. Until then, save the Bron nostalgia. Jokic is also 2-1 all-time head-to-head against LeBron in the postseason.
