Pat Bev was at the game last night in a Portis jersey. Reports are he's not happy in Israel after his favorite teammate up and left the team for safety.

If his wrist is good I'd grab him back here.. I think he has a clause that he can return to the NBA

Is going outside in November a cure for depression? Maybe if you’re traded to Miami? :eek1:

We need a backup PG.. and Bev is one plus 3 and D.. he proved that he can still do it (pre-injury).. the podcast stuff doesn't bother me.. that's the same as Dame rapping.. that's their art instead of Stephen Jackson bottle nights stuff.. you guys get annoyed of the goofiest stuff

Well..

I really dont know with Pat Bev. Maybe his time in Isreal has humbled him a little, but i feel like he may be a guy that some players dont like being around. I feel he may be a distraction. Im hesitant to want to put him back in the locker room. But i also have no idea how players feel about him.

If the players and coaches do like and welcome him, though, he would be an upgrade over Pat C i think.

We have Delon Wright at backup pg. Hes basically egoless, and he has put up an extremely consistent, elite point of attack D LeBron rating the paat four seasons (including this year). His offense is lagging a little but ive noticed him getting more comfortable lately.

I think the teammates and coaches love him here... remains to be seen though .. my guess is that money, us losing, and his health discouraged him from resigning. If he thinks all that could be better...

Bev can bring up the ball under fire though. Delon can get some wing minutes still so they can both stay.. hot hand plays more

Well lets see..

If we are being realistic, Hollins probably isnt ready for the playoffs. So we got

Dame/Wright
Trent/Green and Ajax
Khris/Prince/Ajax
Giannis/Bobby
Brook

Pat?

Thats already 10 guys, 11 with Pat. Barring injury, i dont think there's room.

See what you just said there? Barring injury.. do you remember who got burn in the playoffs last year? If the playoffs started today... bet Pat C has to play a few games each series. By April Pat C might be our main backup again. Bev gives us another line of protection-- if he'd even come back

I was thinking on replay last night, why is Bev here, when he's supposed to be in Israel? And he's in a Bucks jersey, son in the Bulls fit...

Lisa called it, Pat Bev is in the house, or whatever she said. Were they sitting near Thanasis too? Saw someone standing & visibly moving like TA would, a few seats down from them.

Also, how many Bucks have we had that suddenly forget how to shoot wide open 3s (including AJG) when the playoffs start? But we have noone else so they still get a lot of min. Bev is another layer of protection from that too..

Dame & Marjon for DeJounte Murray & Austin Reaves. Legal if you hammer out details (Russell, role guys, 1-2 Lakers' 1sts to NO)

Portis for Nance Jr. (Tre Jones & Malaki Branham from Spurs to ATL).

Those would be my ideal trades. 2nd one is much more likely now. I doubt the Pelicans want to bail already. But it's something to monitor at the deadline if things are going badly even w/ Murray, or if not after the season.

I'm open to a Murray facsimile and Reaves type package. I like the idea of Reaves as a 2nd borderline core player to help us when Khris is out & into the future. But I can't figure a good Murray replacement. Sexton doesn't move me.

My thinking was already at bring Bev back when playoffs get closer, buyout from overseas.

Yup that was TA, in line with Feigin & the Beverleys. PatBev is as good a Buck in the near future my op.in.ion. * Baddy was in the same section for Giannis DoubleNickel+4.

Hate to burst this bubble but there is a chance, hopefully not, but maybe a high probability that 3 or 4 out if those 11 aren't available round 1, or round 2, etc... what if all the injuries are guards and we're calling for the rookie to get PG burn because it's so bad

Why wait.. get him re-acclimated now.. the dudes added late last year had the toughest time fitting in...there are a lot of changes.. get him in the building even if it's sitting next to KM at first. Rescue that expat

Lol... You already replied to this.

But yeah, injuries do happen.
