We get out too on transistiin but we rely on contesting shots and getting boards. This is why we really dont let teams get to the line but with some of our recent rebounding issues i would like to see more Walsh and Springer. I like what they can potentially bring defending the perimeter, rebounding their positions and getting out in transition.
I know Joe always wants shooting on the court but are we letting it hurt other areas that we can win the margins.

You're not going to see Springer.

Right now he's just an end of the bench guy.

Yea just more of a hope. Maybe Joe goes crazier than usual and in 1 game desides to insert him. But it seems like we play a conservative brand of defense and would like to see more intensity if some of the paint issues persist.

Paint issues will not go away as long as Al is playing a lot of minutes as the Center.

He's just not that guy anymore.

The shooting is great, but the defense and rebounding have declined over the years.

"Per the great @StatsWilliams:

The Celtics have made 287 3s this season.

That is the most by any team over ANY 15-game span in NBA history."

We're only getting started. Hauser hasn't even found his groove yet. Porzingis has yet to play.

Celtics on pace to smash the 2023 Warriors record for most made 3s in a season... by 206 makes.

Other than Horford's 1/1 (100.0%), none of our guys are shooting over 35% on pullup 3s. But it's only Brown shooting better on pullup 3s (33.3%) than catch-and-shoot 3s (25.7%). Five Cs are shooting somewhere between 42% and 50% on C&S threes.

Turn this 3 game win streak into a 15 game win streak and if KP comes back for Christmas it'll be a 16 game win streak. :D

TIL the Celtics owe more than half of their titles to the Icecapades.

Oblid‬ ‪@oblid.bsky.social‬

The #Celtics went from 28th in Strength of Schedule to 18th just by playing the Cavs.

I need to get this off my chest. Idc what the boxscore said, DONOVAN MITCHELL DID NOT HAVE A GOOD GAME AGAINST US!! How am I the only one who thinks this?!! I was tired of his smug face and comments on social media!! He had a bum game with good play to end it… when we were up and letting down like all teams tend to do! That box was beautiful though.

It’s like I’m living in an alternate universe! My boyfriend and my therapist (probably) don’t care! Y’all already let me be crazy here, so this won’t hurt that!

I just had a look at our early January road trip.

May the lord have mercy on our souls.
