It was a 1-hour meeting which (according to Nurse in the post-game) covered a bunch of things, which would invariably include playing together, schemes, tactics, etc... all part of the coaching staff's resposibilities. Yet, the only thing that got leaked was about Embiid showing up late? That's the main takeaway from a 1-hr meeting? That sounds like the coaching staff trying to deflect on the blame onto Embiid... which is exactly what he's complaining about. 30 seconds out of a 1-hour meeting is now the entire focus of the post-meeting conversation.

That's Nurse and Klutch controlling the media narrative to protect Nurse's "top 2 coach" reputation.

Bro, all (important) topics discussed were leaked from the meeting.. including players getting on Nurse about his coaching, sub patterns, schemes, etc. The topic being highlighted the most (about Embiid always being late) is probably the most damning one to hear from a fan standpoint.. that's why its the one being discussed the most. There is no conspiracy behind it.

This stuff happens ALL the time, behind the scenes. It's right up there with "Embiid leaves the toilet seat up". It should really be a nothing burger, but it got leaked to the top newsbreaker, Shams, and he's been on multiple shows just to talk about this. The entire point of this is to put all of the blame on Embiid and deflect it from Nurse and/or Maxey (Klutch clients).

I agree this stuff happens all the time. I disagree tho, that this was done to put all the blame on Embiid. It's about damn time he is held accountable. It sounds like its the first time in Embiid's career that he was called out by another teammate (I could be wrong), which is why its a big story imo.

Like I thought, every argument for Kobe boils down to vibes rather than anything about their on court play. And of course by "manipulated stats" you meant any stat imaginable. For people who think being an **** means good leadership I can see why you'd think Kobe is a better leader, but I don't find that convincing at all.
