The cowboys are still mathematically alive for the number one seed!!! lol

Even though this is true we all know it isn’t happening. They might not even win another game this season.

What we really should be discussing is, is this the worst Cowboys team ever? I know injuries are a huge part of their record but if we’re being honest they sucked before any of the injuries.

There’s a very good chance this team finishes on a 12 game losing streak (if the lose out). That would be the longest losing streak of all time for the Cowboys. I wasn’t around to watch those teams in the 60’s and know they were pretty bad but I feel like this team is worse. Dave Campo’s three 5-11 teams are a close 2nd.

I was just joking about the one seed. The odds are a trillion to one.
This team isnt that bad. Don't get me wrong when fully healthy this team wasn’t going to make the playoffs so no excuses.
But injuries have been huge. Hopefully we get a top 5 pick and when we do it will be building on a 8 win season. IMO.

Using injuries as an excuse would be silly but they also cant be ignored.

I mean if you think about it they could have had a RB room of Derrick Henry and Tony Pollard (if they were really all in). Instead we have the corpses of Zeke and Dalvin Cook and Dowdle.

I’m hoping it’s similar to 2015. The year before we won a playoff game and should have won two. In 2015 we were hurt and became the 4th worst team in the NFL

Healthy this team wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad either.

The Giants are notorious for doing it to the Cowboys. They’ve done it multiple times, signing players that the Cowboys cut a week before they play each other. Usually it’s a bottom of the roster type of player though and not the starting QB.
