We aren’t a good team. We are going to get a top 10 pick. With that said, it’s very encouraging that we are playing close games with this young team. Our players have bought in and they compete every night.

Remember when it was an unthinkable disaster that we didn't end up with Scoot?

I don't remember anyone clamouring for Scoot.
You hang out in the TWO thread everyday and don't remember anyone clamoring for Scoot?

Yep. And Cade, Jalen Green, Sharpe, Mathurin and the list goes on and on and on.

Wiggins (or Jabari?) or die trying. Rubio or die trying.

Yeah this is really 'cheering for the future'.

There's a difference between 'hey I want to lose games' and the toxic garbage that is these posts which leave everyone with a bad taste in their mouth with the TWO posters. Also because it's the same exact subset of posters who flooded the forum with the toxic FVV posts with the same tone.

I won't speak for Chandan, but like 99% of stuff being posted here in TWO thread, it's sounds like a joke / troll to me. Hyperbole is funny. We post here because of the funny chit we post like we did in HS, so who cares?

Yes, I posted plenty of FVV bashing posts, but I always presented facts / evidences (videos, stats), sprinkled with ridiculousness

That high brow level of high school humour. Way to aim high.

Can't get too high. Can't get too low. It's a long season.

I'm not going to change my view on the team and what is needed based on one game. There was a lot going on last night to increase the players hype. Scottie back, city jerseys, cool court, Taylor Swift mania....lots going on.

Teams will scout and adapt for Scottie. The ugly chevron jerseys will be back next game. Normal court will return. Taylor is leaving soon.

Some nights things click. Last night was one of them.

On the plus side it was a very entertaining game overall....except for the final score. lol. tWo 4Lyfe

I’m not tripping. Timberwolves literally self sabotaged themselves down the stretch with that Randle Gobert stuff.

Some like to watch the team cheer for win because at the core of sports, that's the entire point.

And I laugh at your 'patience' comment when you're the first one to jump on Dick, Ochai etc when they underperform in a small sample size.

Is it the entire point? If a point in sports is to win a game, then you cheer for the win. True. But if we're talking the entire point, isn't it to win the Championship? Masai has said more than once the point is to win the Championship.

So if you don't believe the team we currently have has a ceiling that high and, instead, we need to position ourselves to build through the draft to better contend, then maybe you don't cheer for the win because that lessens the chance for a higher pick.

Some people focus more game-by-game, others have more of a bigger picture, neither are wrong - just different. No one should "laugh" at anyone or be derogatory on the person with whom you disagree on perspective.

Claiming people are in need of a dopamine fix an have no patience because they want to see and cheer for their team to win a game is a little ridiculous.

Saw couple of Pensare videos recently, seems like he sold out for clicks. Doesn't appear to be pro tank. Those older player bashing videos were entertaining.

Lol best put them on ignore if their views don't align. Everyone comes on to do their own thing anyway and none of it is constructive. I come to dump off negativity and displeasure about the direction of the team because I act like the most positive guy in real life. Duff come to feel like a real big man with his mod powers because he probably wishes he can beat his child.

Some are more sick inside than the other but we all have our reasons.

I'm the most positive in real life but this mod wants to beat his child... yup.

This isn't your group therapy session for complex emotions that are too hard for you to handle.

Yeah, most positive person in real life. That's why you accuse mods of child abuse.

Pretty good "Power Tankings" episode from Veceni on his pod, with their too-early rankings of prospects but mostly their ranks of the high-lottery teams. Quick bullets:

- They had the Raps "4th" (i.e. 4th overall odds) with a specific call-out to Scottie raising the floor once he returns (Raps were 2-12 at the time)
- They did a thought experiment vs. the Scottie draft year and Vecenie has all of the non-Flagg prospects graded lower than where he had Cade overall (i.e. they'd be drafted after Cade if they were all in the same draft class next year)
- No way the Raps contend for an actual playoff berth but they had the Wiz, Blazers and Jazz comfortably worse

I don't mind either way. We haven't seen IQ, Dick, RJ, Scottie poeltl. Brown and Kelly have been out. We have lost some close games. Lead the league in free throws against us.

I don't think we are there but I could see us at DD, Lowry level. Making the playin wouldn't be the worst for culture.

I like the draft so I'm good w a 12-16 pick. Last year 2 play in teams won the lottery. I'm good either way. MU is a great drafter.
