He still needs to contribute after the catch and hit some freaking buddy, but he's been supposedly amazing in camp.

Re: PFF
He's outstanding in coverage. The issue was definitely his tackling. His tackling grade was in the 30's. Just abysmal.
I called him soft at the end of the season. Because I felt like it was warranted.
Word is that he looks great in camp. So, we'll see...

Re: PFF thread
Since we're at the halfway point of the season, we might as well go over some of the good & the bad.
The Good:
Charles Cross- PFF's 5th rated OT this season.
Ken Walker- 3rd ranked RB
Geno- 10th among QB's. Despite his issues in the red zone.
Leonard Williams- 12th among DT's. He's probably their most impactful player on that side of the ball.
Julian Love- 10th among Safety's.
Boye Mafe & Derick Hall are putting together solid seasons. But both seem to run hot/cold. That seems to be a pattern for Mafe.
As far as the rookie? Byron Murphy has had his moments.
Spoon has been good at times but his tackling has been his biggest issue. He has a high missed tackle rate this season.
Prediction: I expect Ernest Jones to climb in the rankings & be one of their best players by the end of the season.
The Bad:
Okay, this one is fairly obvious but Anthony Bradford is & remains one of the worst Guards in Football (72nd/77 G).
Spoiler: Christian Haynes hasn't been much better unfortunately.
Mike Jerrell ranks dead last among Tackles fwiw lol.
Defensively?
Johnathan Hankins has been pretty awful according to their grading system (123rd/124 DI). My eyes would tend to agree for the most part.
Trevis Gipson & Myles Adams have been straight booty when they've played. It's not simply a coincidence that both have not played much as of late.
The same could be said for K'Von Wallace (145th/149 S) & Tre Brown (95th/108 CB). Wallace is on IR & Brown might have lost his job for good.

Dude, even the bad snap was not that bad... now if we could just get rid of Bradford for Haynes.

Re: PFF & Stats
Hmmm so... should Haynes be starting? I mean seems like O-line scouting was bunk at the coaching level for at least center, though I get we were nursing a probowler back to healt.. retirement.
