Giannis so far being better on jumpers but worse taking free throws is classic Giannis.

He had a nice 7 second routine at the start of the season, then had a couple off games and reverted to the long in both form and time version. Should have stuck with the international routine. It would have paid off.

PPP with 8 seconds left doesn't suggest better expected outcomes are found.
You're bad at this; but I'm a people person so I'll help you.
Giannis makes it on 63% of his drives and gets fouled on 12%.
Now add.. 63%+12% = 75%
75%>45%
Maybe we should have ran a PLAY where Giannis takes it inside and win the game using BBIQ. School is a good place to go.
You can't use all drives in your math. No transition, and only drives that start with the ball in bounded at 8 seconds. Sorry, but you need to use the correct data points.
Then factor in an officiating crew that wasn't going to give us a whistle

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
It's still higher than 45%.. the closer Giannis gets the higher his % and more likely he is to get fouled, but nice try Mr. STJ sir. I don't expect you to understand. Enjoy your Saturday, bud.

I don't think Portland would be interested, they would obviously move Bobby and probably Pat and have more versatility because of their cap situation and they would want to make moves to get back under the tax. Saw a similar trade on the GB and thought I would throw this one out there.

Bucks in: Camara
Portland in: Marjon, 2031 1st
Camara is signed through 2026 with only $6.5 million remaining. He is the Herb Jones that the Bucks need.
No thank you from POR.
What is a fair price for you and also for the Portland front office for Bantan?
He shouldn’t cost much, but I am not a fan. He takes a lot of bad, low IQ shots.

His form on free throws is good if you could just connect his leg movement to his arm movement. Instead it is segmented and essentially the entire shot is based on a low arc wrist flick shot. I have faith he will get there. At 75% from the line he is an absolute nightmare.

I was hoping for a trade that gets Prince out of the rotation, not one that locks him in but minimizes Dairy Bird and Ajax. You really think Dosunmu has the defense chops to be the guy opposite of Dame?

Yes, but I like Ayo more than most-- think he has elite perimeter D potential, and gives us another handler. Also like Smith more than most. Perfectly fine letting Dre and Smith take Prince's minutes at the 3/4.

I like Smith's shooting, but not his defense.

I don’t want to pay Marjon his next contract, so salary and 2 SRP works for me.
I think MIL might want to look at picking up someone other than Banton. He will go from underrated to hated pretty fast chucking his way to his next contract.

His passing and weak side shotblocking are assets. Portland is dramatically better when he plays, and God awful when he's off.

We’re pretty awful period.
There isn’t a starting quality pg on the entire roster and the shooting is awful. Defense is better than last year maybe but we are a long way from being merely bad.

Agree, and yet you're outscoring teams by 8 points per 100 when Bantan plays. Playmaking out of 6'9" dudes is such an original skill.

Prince deserves playing time. He is shooting it a great clip from 3, defending well enough, and is even doing a good job rebounding. He is playing like a solid starter and hopefully keeps his game at the same level or possibly increase as a back up when Khris comes back.

Hes below replacement level for his career, and when his shooting normalizes, he'll be a liability.
But hey, if he can sustain 53% 3 point shooting, then we found our Kyle Korver

Even at 38% he is still a solid rotation player as long as his rebounding and defense remains at the current level.

Imo, his inability to defend the dribble will catch up to him.

Who is losing 25-35 minutes when Middleton comes back? The rotations right now are really good, Doc is playing the guys who play well instead of being pigeon holed into rotations (Bud) and he's staggering Dame/Giannis so they each have enough time on the court without the other.
