His numbers looked better but I wasn't a fan of his play tonight. The guy can't stay in front of anyone and doesn't use his size to any benefit. Watching Luke Kennard put him under the basket was painful.

He needs to get stronger if he is going to be so slow.

*And I wasn't mad at the trade. I understood the idea behind it even though I was a die-hard Caruso fan. Giddey's stats just feel like empty calories to me. I know he had a good +- tonight but it didn't look like winning play.

Coby was drunk
Ayo was cold
Zach was asleep for most of the game
Vooch fell off early

If any of those things changed, tonight was a win. The energy was just awful outside of the Buzelis burst and then the deep bench guys showing that they gave a damn.

This game was all about Matas. Great job kid.

No need to even discuss anyone else cause they were horrible. I dont bother talk about Zach and Vooch. They are vets and they have been great.

Ayo and Coby were just awful on both ends. You can't blame Giddey for those defensive lapses tonight. It was a complete reversal of last night.

Anybody else here like Pip Jr.?

He reminds me a bit of Mavs Brunson.

Portland has the same record as us. They are the surprise right now.

Guess what I’m saying, was he the worst on the court, cause his minutes say the coach thought so , even when he plays well he doesn’t get the minutes !

Lots of deserved talk about Matas, but want to footnote that Lavine was excellent tonight. 29 points on 19 shots and an uncharacteristic 1 TO, and 2 steals.

A lot of his shots he had to just create on his own heavily defended, since our "system" wasn't creating good looks for anyone on the team.

The funniest moment of the night was Stacey randomly busting out Pip for not watching the game. And then judging and mocking him for it. “Who doesn’t watch his own son’s game?!?”

I have no doubt that Stacey is the type of dude who expresses friendship by busting chops. But I bet Pip didn’t love that one being on live TV.

We shot 19-42 from 3 with only 11 turnovers and still got smoked.

We were out rebounded by 14.

Scottie definitely won't be happy about that one. I winced aa King said that. Well Stacey it's because your ex teammate is a complete ass hole, unfortunately (and still my all time fave). It's amazing that the Bulls dynasty had like 5 complete ego maniacs from ownership down to the stars in-fighting, but still being the GOAT team. Damn now I'm wine drunk and want to watch 93 dvds.

Bulls can’t matchup with Memphis for some reason, this is the second time they ran through them without Morant. Memphis don’t even have that good of a roster yet they looked like a solid team.

Bulls on the other hand looked tired, apparently playing a back to back is asking for too much to professional athletes who are supposedly in great shape. Also the defense was atrocious once again. They should have won this game at home but oh well…

One positive was Matas starting to show that he belongs in the rotation, had a couple of nice dunks as well!

On paper they look pretty mediocre, but they're above .500 out West this year. Lot of players playing their roles exceptionally well this year.

Coaching, adapting, ingame decision making doesn't really make a difference. We have BD who is perfectly fine as a coach, who else would do any better with this roster?

The Grizz are a 10-7 Western Conference Team despite Morant only playing 8 games. They are 6-4 in their last 10 with him missing the last 9. They were 5 point favorites on the road against the Bulls. I think you might be underrating them a bit.

Really? The first thing he could do is stop scripting the game to go away from Lavine early, and then have Lavine take over in the 3rd quarter. You don't think other teams see that? And if you are just going to use Lavine as a decoy early in every game, he can't be standing in the corner. You are going to have to have him as the facilitator, the first pass... or...something to force them to honor him on the court. Teams are basically ignoring the spacing he should be providing because they know he isn't getting the ball early on.

I thought it was supposed to be a free wheeling fast paced share the ball and take the first available good shot offense? Billy is making it harder on the players than it has to be.

Defensively and rebounding, I somewhat agree. Not much you can do without any real size.

Zach, Vuc and Ayo were a combined -55 for the game. They were not playing winning basketball.

More energy from one guy in rookie year than from one in 5 years. Just saying. Good loss. Wont talk about defense.

I can see Pippen cutting off the friendship with King after that one, given how sensitive he is. But it's kind of egregious not to watch your son play in the same building that you became a legend in.

Also, Zach zaidman is comically bad next to King. What happened to Mark Schanowski as backup?

Honestly I think we would have made it closer if Ja and Edey played. It seemed like they couldn't miss from 3, but then I looked and we matched them from 3. We also matched them on TO's, and we're close on FT's too. Really came down to the fact that they beat us up on the boards. What baffled me is that on the 2nd half of a B2B against a bigger team that we only played Smith his usual 15 minutes. I think that our pace works against us on the 2nd half of B2B's. That Wells guy really killed us, and Pippen had a free pass to the rim on every drive.

Matas had himself a great 1st half and then his carriage turned back into a pumpkin in the second half...rookies, right?

Ayo struggled against JJJ at the rim a few times and I think it zapped his confidence
