Mogbo

I like Mogbo at the 5 as he can get offensive rebounds. Kelly can space the floor with his shooting.

Why does everyone have Dick on the bench? What am I missing?

I think most people feel we need more defense in the starting lineup (therefore Ochai)......especially when IQ comes back. Dick becomes 6th man, which is a great role for him until he improves his defense.

It should be RJ or IQ (Really RJ) but it will be Gradey.

Gradey should play with Scottie as much as possible imo. They theoretically should maximize each other's skillset very well and RJ could lead a dynamic bench and win 6moty.

Because of Pedigree, I think Gradey will get first opportunity to prove himself over Ochai with the starting unit - if it doesn't work then Ochai will get his opportunity.

I bet this injury's been around since he was on Denver, and the Pacers just paid him too much for him to sit out.

It's also very strange that, we got lied to...either by the Pacers or Bruce. Maybe it was just us failing to do a medical report. But, after he gets here, and it's clear that he's gimp. Masai STILL gives him the 23M knowing he's got a bum leg, and people are so naïve that they are "OK" with it. This alone is enough to get you fired.

They had no other mechanism to add 23 million to the salary cap for this year, so they might as well use the option and keep him as trade bait.

Fired? Or ...maybe you could understand how the cap works.

As for where and how much Brown plays, I would be pretty disappointed if Brown consistently got more minutes than Dick or Agbaji. don't care if he starts. 20 minutes and maybe not playing back to backs will already cause the bench to be kind of crowded. He's still very much on the trading block.

It's never going to be Quick or RJ. They are young vets. Just not gonna happen. That's the reality of things.

Well it probably won't be either it will probably be Ochai. If we want to look at the reality things vs what we'd like to happen, lol.

Darko has been on record before comparing RJ with Manu though, so you never know, maybe that's the vision he sees for RJ.

Taking Gradey out makes no sense when the starting lineup has no spacing without him. The starting lineup will divebomb offensively without him in it if we are being honest.

Last year it made no sense to keep him. His experience is playing on a contender. We weren't contending last year, so we were counting on some draft capital for him to make the Siakam trade look better.

So many times we dump on a player and find out later that he was injured. It would be nice if the team let us know.

True but there's no rush to get the return from last year to this year. I don't think this is a Siakam situation where his contract situation makes him less valuable this year than last.

Ochai trade slowly been making me feel a bit better about the Pascal trade as well.

True our situation this year is different.

Starting lineup looked fine offensively against the wolves so I’m not sure why replacing Dick with Quickly would tank the offence. Instead of stating your opinion like it’s some kind of fact why don’t you try saying “I think it would…”

I’d still rather play battle because of his shooting. Even Bruce brown at his best is whatever.
