That was a bad snap but the holder recovered. What a brutal miss.

Giants should be guaranteed a top 2 pick at this point after that Titans win. Jags should win a game even without Lawrence, their schedule is the easiest in the league. They should win a game. Raiders could win one.

After today, what game could the Giants win the rest of the way? Dallas? New Orleans?

Ward to NY!

Also start fresh. I would give Ben Johnson whatever he wanted to be the HC for our rookie QB. And let him also get a young talent evaluator as a GM.

Ideally I would like an highly regarded young mind developing our rookie QB. That is the most important and he is probably the most well regarded coordinator out there right now. What he has done for a mid QB like Goff has been amazing.

Is there another HC candidate that interests you?

Hate tanking but it's the only way. The entire team looks like it's checked out. Still waiting for something to happen to mess up the tank though

I agree regarding tanking... but at this point, I don't think it's "tanking". They just aren't good on either side of the ball. The defense is more talented but they seem like they've given up, not a good look for Daboll.

They may win a game at some point the rest of the way, but even still, they should be still within the top 3-5 picks at worst. These other bad teams seem to be more competitive then we are.

Def don’t think daboll makes it out of the season now. Team quit today. Maybe it’s a shock thing from letting jones go but I’m skeptical. The effort and tackling was an absolute mess. Can’t have the team quit on you and keep your job.

The Texans and Commanders say otherwise. You just need to hire the right OC.

Good OCs are overrated as HCs imo. They are not the best leaders of men all the time. Just cause you can draw up plays don’t meann you can lead 53 men.

Fair, Commanders are kinda falling apart tho. Lost 3 in a row...offense has struggled last few weeks.

You would need a highly regarded OC to take the job though. My issue with that is if they are good you always run the risk of losing an offensive coordinator if they show they are worth anything because its an offensive league.

I agree some OC aren't great leaders but then you get those great minds like KOC or McVay that can completely change a franchise. I just hate turnover I would hate to get a young QB in a system and then potentially have to change it a year or two in if that OC gets a HC job.

Its just a preference....I would still do a vast search to find the best HC out there.

I don't think so either...but if he doesn't do you really let Schoen pick his new HC and make the likely QB selection?
