At the same time, that's a fair question. As a Bulls fan, I can tell you the answer.
If he's a player who you believe in, keep him. If you believe he's fools' gold or would decline in value (like I did with Lavine and Noah/Deng respectively), trade ASAP to get a great return from a contender.

Not doing this is most of the reason why the Bulls suck.

Nah. The main problem with the Lakers is the lack of 2 way players. Their roster consists of 1 dimensional players, excluding Davis. They should package Dlo, Reaves, Vincent, and their picks to get a couple of 2 way players imo.

Vincent was a 2 way player, but has been a bust offensively since joining the Lakers.

On the other end, Charlotte can still get a high pick and build with Ball.
