Dude was 6’1 and 166lbs at the combine..lmao he makes devonta smith look like the hulk. My first reaction when he was drafted was who tf is this guy. He was mostly getting 2nd and 3rd round hype. Wild to take him over Gonzalez

There was no reason to change the name and logo to begin with. I’ve talked to several natives and none of them have ever been offended by it. It’s a very very small group of people that are butt hurt over it.

Redskins is such a classic name. Commanders is so dumb. And honestly if it was my team I’d feel embarrassed

Well, Redskins sounds like it's meant to be offensive (like Yellowskins?) at least to me who isn't a native English speaker. But if it isn't actually insulting, then it should be fine.

Still, I wish they were honest about the reason for switching back and that's because the old name and logo have much more brand value. Commanders is so generic and probably their fans are buying more vintage stuff.

So to me the idea that they are switching back to "honor" native Americans is just as "woke".
