KAT is questionable tonight. Not feeling good about this one.

Flatirons are amazing...I lived in Boulder for awhile and even camped across from them in settlers park for some time one summer mountain biking in and out of town.

Looking forward, are we close to getting anyone back from injury? This team will struggle to get wins against better teams if we don't. It's that simple. We are too thin right now. Even with wanting Thibs to trust the bench more, we simply don't have a bench. Our defense leaves a lot to be desired and without three key defensive players in the rotation, that won't change.

We can get beat inside and out side on defense because of the players we have available and the scheme we run with those players. We can point fingers all we want. We are short handed and don't have enough defensive players in the rotation. Nothing else matters as much as this.

I expect losses in the next two games if this doesn't change.

100% agree. I've been watching a ton of kat tape in both Minny and here in ny. I'm not sure we can run a viable defense with him at the 5 without switching and especially pre-switching for both him and Brunson. As of rn we are letting teams expose both guys in screen actions. Kat goes under every screen aka drop and Brunson is always late on the contest whether he goes over or under because he's simply too small to maneuver and get back to contest at the 3pt line. This makes us one of the worst defenses in one screen and open shot situations.

I'm not sure if switching will actually be viable going forward but one thing I do know for sure is that we won't know till we try. The Celtics with kp in the lineup switch everything and try everything possible schematically to avoid KP having to guard the 3pt line or isos against shifty ball handlers. KP is better than Kat defensively but they have similar weaknesses. What kat brings offensively at the 5 is such a weapon that I feel like we have to try switching first before we move precious to the starting lineup and give that advantage away. Now if that still doesn't work and we continue to give up 115ppg then yes no doubt we move either precious or Mitch up for Hart.

I kind of anticipate two more losses now, Knicks rarely win in Denver and the Mavs always seem to be geeked up for the Knicks in Dallas. So a 3 game losing streak then hopefully a get right game against the Hornets before coming home making it a 2-3 west road trip and Knicks fans googling bridges...and no not Mikal ones.
