145 pts is the most by a visitor in Denver since 91. Hail Thibs!

I said at his worst!

Meaning we should expect an improvement as the season moves on.

He has 65 games until the playoffs start to fix his 3pt shot. At best his ppg could increase to 17 or 18. He's clearly the 4th option on this team though.

Ofc his raw numbers will increase with this but I'm most concerned with his efficiency. Need him to get right because defenders are going to sag off him and start making life harder for others. Plus there are going to be nights the other 3 are struggling and he will need to pick it up.

It's the above the break three that is the issue with Mikal. He is so bad from that area that it is affecting his overall percentage. He is reliable everywhere else.

https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/mikal-bridges-shot-chart-this-season

He is lethal from the right corner three at 53.1% on 32 attempts.

He has shot 31.8% on 22 attempts from the left corner three which is below league average but should be easy to improve on.

He can't hit any from above the break though

He is well above average on all of his mid-range shots and in the paint

He's actually a compliment to OG's shot chart

https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/og-anunoby-shot-chart-this-season

Notice how OG is weak from the right corner three (33% on 12 attempts), but he is outstanding everywhere else. Also, OG is getting most of his points on threes or in the paint, but not a whole lot of mid-range like Mikal.

Remember we lost to them @Denver 14 times in a row going back to 2006. Thibs the god has us smoking them regularly now

We have an elite guard, an elite wing and an elite big. Great time being a Knick fan!

Precious and Mitch will only make us better. Patience folks. There is something here that looks better than anything we've seen in DECADES. Forget last January. We are brand new!!

Let's keep it rolling in Dallas and Charlotte so I can have a fun 5 day weekend of beer drinking!! On to the next one!

Don’t forget we replaced rj with team ball!

Yeah. Basically with Hart. Just a completely different dynamic to what we were trying to do the last two years. We have improved a lot since everyone's favorite players were traded. Thankful my favorite player is actually a cornerstone of the team. Must suck for the Standles and team RJ.

Reddish for Hart is a franchise turning deal. It's just unfair.

He is the 2nd best ball handler in the starting lineup so it would be great if he could keep defenders honest with his ability to hit from the top of the key or elbow 3s.

Tbh, I'm not worried about it yet. He has a good track record. I believe he will get right. And its nice we have so much talent that we can survive his struggles. But if he gets right

The starting 5 is such a good fit. If Mikal can improve his 3 ball and play better defense we will be extremely tough to beat when everyone is back. Like best in the league tough. We aren't far off from where we need to be. Precious should be back in he very near future. Mitch in a month or so? I can see us start rolling really soon. We are 7 of our last 10 already. I think we are about to turn the corner.

I wonder how many of Mikal's wide open misses were from Brunson's passes. He could've had himself a 20-20 night.

Cameron Payne has been a huge surprise. This might be his best season in 3 years.

Shooting 43.9% from three on 4.4 attempts per game
Averaging 3.6 apg in 18.2 mpg
Only 7 turnovers for the entire season (his assist/TO ratio is 6.7)

Also, for a back-up point guard, he seems reliable offensively from pretty much everywhere on the floor: https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/cameron-payne-this-season-shot-chart

Much like Sims, I still don't trust him, but there's no denying he's been good for this stretch.

We got 4 all-stars on the team, but only 2 will likely make it in (Brunson and KAT) because there are a ton of guys putting up all-star numbers throughout the East. Cavs having a historic run right now is warranting them having 4 all-stars

Josh Hart averaging 14/9/6 on 61/37/85 shooting splits is all-star caliber

He takes pressure off McBride

McBride is a 6'2 3&D wing player. It works for him because of his 6'9 wingspan. Playing alongside Payne, McBride doesn't have to be a true point guard.
