And the worst coaching moments of all time being up 30 with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter and the starters out there still running and diving all over the place risking injury.

I saw KAT hit the floor 3-4 separate times plus a time where he held his calf after a drive to the basket. Coach still left his starters in the game. What a joke.

You wanna leave some of the starters in, cool. Take KAT out the game you fkn moron.

You can see the guys want it for each other. Sad Thibs left them in against energized guys who been riding pine all night. Counter with your own bench energy dude.

You know Thibs couldn’t have a perfect night. OG fell and got up slow as well. Just have to get to 10 guys he trusts this man is crazy. Next step is bench trust and this team can go far.

The only way we’d get 3 all stars is if we were 1st in the conference and we are far from that

We will be lucky if we get 2 all stars (we should get that if we stay top 3-4) and if we only get 1 it is going to be towns

They have shown this before. This was just the best game of the young season. Offense hasn't been a problem outside of Mikal from three and the Jazz game.

There's another level to this on both sides of the ball if we are fully healthy. The different looks we can run will be crazy. The defense death lineup of Deuce/OG/Precious/Mitch and one of Mikal/Hart would be a brick wall. We can mix and match offense and defense up and down the roster.

We need to be healthy to really see what we have. I am anxiously awaiting seeing Precious with this group. We can roll with Deuce/Payne/Precious/Sims until Mitch gets healthy and that's a solid bench the way Sims has been playing.

I really like the construction of this team. We are as close to a title team as we have been since the 90s and, we have room to grow when we get healthy and chemistry locks in.

Can’t forget Towns and Hart. Can’t emphasis this enough. Playing to players strength. OG a fast break demon again.

Finch's offense was primarily KAT staying out of ANT's way. Thibs offense seems better suited for KAT. Personally, I thought we were going to see the same sort of offense from T-Wolves here. Thibs shocked me.

It was more Gobert clogging the paint. KAT was doing this before Gobert arrived then they got Gobert and turned KAT into Ryan Anderson

That was their offensive mantra. KAT stretching the offense allowed ANT to drive a lot more, get to the line more. ANT emergence took the ball out of KAT's hands to transform him into a stretch big. But regardless, the offensive sets here is different than what Finch is running. Finch is still mostly running plays as if KAT is still on the team. KAT is playing more top of the key here than he was in Minny. You can argue there's a bit more maturity to his offense here, too. He isn't doing stupid passes like he has done so in the past.

I stand by my statement that Mitch will be a bench big. Not messing up this generational offense for rim protection. It’s clear we can play defense with effort.

Most points in a regulation game since 1980 and most assists in a game since 1979....

....but what is Thibs going to do now that he doesn't have his Thibsian team?

Well, the Knicks had 2 last year with JB and Randle as reserves. I can't imagine a world where JB isn't voted as a starter (but voters are stupid, so 'eh). Also hard to imagine KAT not being voted in as a starter, either.

OG has been on a tear. I can totally see the coaches giving him the nod if that continues.

I want to see some minutes with Brunson/Deuce/OG/Precious/KAT. We can mix amd match offense and defense up and down the roster. It only gets deeper with Mitch back. We can run twin towers if needed. We all know Thibs loves that. We need to get healthy to see what we really are. We came this far with no depth. Imagine the possibilities.

10-7
17 games in
no Mitch, or Precious...
Again, New team...
Yet, this "new" team is 4th in the east and 9th out of 30 teams.
end of story!

KAT was doing this in Minny as a center. He is a cheat code at the 5. And he's a great rebounder for you to survive with him on the defensive end.

Sure he has short coming defensively they certainly don't even come close to how dynamic he makes an offense at the 5. He is still a good offensive player at the 4. But his C&S and then ability to exploit close out because a big can recover fast enough makes it nearly unstoppable.

I rest my case. Precious is cleared for contact in practice. Mitch is back shooting. The vision is becoming clearer by the day. Things can/will get even better!
