Brad Stevens was on the broadcast when the Celtics tied the NBA record for most threes in any quarter and had their highest output in a single quarter since the 3-pt shot was introduced. Maybe Stevens should be the 3rd guy in the booth, at least for home games.

How should we handle KP going forward in regard to minutes and games?

Does he get B2B games off like Al? (I would)

Should he have a minute restriction (soft) such as not more than 24 minutes per? or a different number?

Having a healthy KP clearly takes us to a whole other level. So most important is to keep it that way.

Last 2 times a team scored 50 pts in a quarter was 1970 and 1959. That means last night’s second quarter was the highest scoring quarter the majority of us have ever seen and may ever see. And the Clippers are a pretty solid defensive team.

What's so impressive about the fastbreak era of the mid to late 50s through the mid 70s is they put up those numbers without the three. That's a 12 point handicap vs last night's second quarter.

Tommy wasn't just yelling "Run!" as a broadcaster. He played on the 1959 team and coached the one in 1970.

I was a quibbler about it - loved Derrick (even proposed trading for him the season before), but I wanted top 4 instead of top 2 protection, lol. I even coined #bradblinked. I knew he was good, but didn't think pick 2 worthy. But It's at the point that even if the worst happens and SAS gets our pick #2 in 2028 - it's still a great trade for us.
