Houston's defense is a vibe killer, for sure.

It also doesn't help Minnesota just has no identity whatsoever. This is a 7-10 seed team right now.

Sengun seems better at defense in the paint. He does benefit from the terror twins though because they take a bite out of the paint drives.

He took a huge leap basically the first game Udoka showed up. He keeps him accountable. He lapses occasionally, but 98% of the time he's working with what he has.

Haven't loved the officiating in this game and that last one on Brooks was indicative.

Heat played some suffocating defense in the 3rd.

Crazy that the terror twins are like the best defensive wing duo in the league right now but neither of them are necessarily the best wing defender on the Rockets. Dillon Brooks is that good.

All they had to do was blitz Lillard and dare the other Bucks to try to beat them 4 vs. 3

Classic Doc. Blowing leads and not adjusting his offense.

Jabari is no slouch himself.

I think of him more as a forward/big but no doubt.

I'm thinking when Dame comes back in they shouldn't run through him. Run through Portis instead. Otherwise they'll just blitz Lillard and the other Bucks panic when they have a 4 on 3 advantage, maybe they aren't used to it. Run through Portis so they can run offense vs. a normal defense.

For sure. Just saying he's pretty versatile on defense.

That’s true but he’s taken another leap this year. He’s actually a plus defender now, and the alley-oop vulnerability has been eliminated, partly by him, partly by scheme. But he’s much more versatile defensively this year, teams can’t hunt him out, or often pay if they do.

I'll always respect Brooks because a lot of players with more talent than him never made it, and when he first first first arrived in the league, I thought no way was he an NBA player. But... no-chill is a skill, and maybe the most important one, too.

He looks kinda clunky (for an athlete) but it doesn’t translate to results. You could argue he’s been the Rockets most consistent player this season.

Yeah because the Bucks are full of potent offensive weapons minus Giannis and Dame.

The Bucks problems are all on Horst and roster construction
