What? Obvious even to you = person, who hates Klay.

I didn't see you having complaints, with him numerous using stan and similar words.

Not all warnings are visible and if he says something inappropriate report it, and I'll deal with, we can miss posts sometimes.
"obvious even to you" means that the person doesn't comprehend well enough compared to others.

So we're now in political correct nightmare? And yes, bias perception doesn't mean that person having it is stupid, it means that his beliefs don't permit him to make some obvious conclusions. And I believe, I might be wrong, that he can't see anything about Klay with normal eyes, because he just hate his signing. Calling someone bias is for sure not something that we should avoid in conversation. Your reaction just made totally non problematic comment problematic and derailed this conversation. Congrats.

About Klay, he came only because they promised him starting role and it would be extremely stupid to bench him and killed any hope for this signing to work only after 1/6 of the regular season.

I'm honestly curious about this.

Klay, apart from his 3pt shooting %, has been good for Mavs for multiple statistical reasons and the gravity he has on the floor. Mavs fans talk about this on other fan sites and appreciate what Klay does.

And Naji can do everything DJJ can do except dunk like a mad man. DJJ couldn't dribble or find his own shot or score over 20 points on great efficiency every night + have great hustle and defense. Naji can do all of that, yet you claim DJJ was so much better?

Because sure, it's a joke to some point but are you serious or just have no clue what you're watching and talking about? It will seriously get annoying if you'll keep repeating the same BS for months and months.

According to you, Naji can do all of the following:
- good dribbling
- find own shot
- score over 20 points on great efficiency every night
- have great hustle and defense

This sounds like a max contract all star to me.

So same question to you what are you talking about? It gets annoying if you keep being delusional and talk about nonstop BS.

So, you'll just going to be annoying then. I'm sure Mavr will appreciate that.

Let's see how much "better" DJJ actually is according to you.

77% of DJJ's FG's are assisted compared to only 55% of Naji's.

Raw numbers.

DJJ (starter) 26 MPG averaging 10.7/3.5/1/1.3 on 61.7% TS%.

Naji (bench) 24 MPG averaging 11.3/3.5/2.6/1.1 on 62% TS%.

1v1 defense.

Offensive players are shooting 49% vs DJJ in direct 1v1 matchup.
Offensive players are shooting 45% vs Naji in direct 1v1 matchup.

TEAM DRTG

Mavs 109.8 - Naji 110 (0.2pts worse)
LAC 108.4 - DJJ 111.7 (3.3pts worse)

Impact numbers

+/- for the season

DJJ +0.3
Naji +3.2

ON court per 100 poss

DJJ +0.7
Naji +7.3

NetRTG

DJJ +0.6
Naji +7.1

But sure, DJJ is WAY better

And because of all this stats, you draw a conclusion that Naji scores over 20 points on great efficiency every night, which makes him the better player than DJJ?

Ok delusional it is and annoying indeed.

I already explained how the comment can be interpreted, you can be politically incorrect if you insist I don't really mind, it's personal insults that derail threads that I care about.

I have given you reasonings why Naji is a better and more versatile player than DJJ for Mavs. He can defend better and he scores better. He's also more versatile by making his own shots, which this team clearly lacked outside of Kyrie and Luka. I also gave you multiple stats to prove my point, the only thing you're doing in response is using "trust me bro" argument.

I won't go into THJ vs Klay because i already did that not long ago and apparently you didn't read it since you're still saying the same stuff and you're not in this to have a serious discussions instead you only want to trigger a response.

No you did absolutely nothing in terms of proving this is accurate: Naji scores over 20 points on great efficiency every night which you mentioned on your initial post.

Honestly i don't care on who is better... Klay, Naji or Grimes? They are completely different players.
Are they an upgrade over DJJ, THJ and Green? For sure. That's the important thing.
Klay is a perfect fit next to Luka.
Naji needs ball in his hands.
Grimes is a classic 3&D.
We need all of 3 and a solid 8/9 men rotation for win the trophy.

However a lot of people are concerned about Klay 3s... He averages 37% this season.
Not so bad for a shooting slump. He will improve, you can't forget how to shoot.

It's not about whether he remembers or forgets how to shoot. When players are older, the lower body strength and condition will impact their shooting. Given Klay's age and injury history, that is why he is struggling and there is no going back from here.

He has the ability to score 20 pts on any given night. And you claimed DJJ is much better player than Naji, that was the whole point of my long post underlined by many stats.

Naji Marshall without Luka this season:
20PPG, 4RPG, 2APG on 75TS%

I just came back from YMCA and I had a 35points game today.

I hope you are right. I am all supporting Klay coming off the bench, but to be a starter with Kyrie and Luka together? I think that's a bad formula.
