That's why championships are not won in November.

The Hawks could be the surprise team of the east this season.

Just like the Pacers surprised everybody by making the ECF last season.

My mistake. Hopefully the Hawks can hold on for the win ! What a feisty pain in the butt team they are !

Cavs are now just 1.5 games up. Hopefully Hawks also take the 2nd game vs. them in the home-and-home. Don't care much about the Cup.

Cavs need to win that one so that the Hawks will be eliminated from the NBA Cup and Cs just need to beat the Bulls.

Hope the Cavs fans who roasted me for saying Pritchard will win 6 MOTY over Ty Jerome will pipe down for while (a couple of them flipped out when I said this on the main board lol)

I think that it's meaningful for the Bench guys. Every player gets the same amount.
$515K is a good percentage of what some of these players get paid, regularly.

I just want to win every game by a thousand points lol. If they do that, they'll win the Cup.

Two nights in a row where Ime's superior clutch coaching and timeout calling couldn't overcome a big late comeback from the opposition causing overtime.

After NYK and CLE losses, Celts back on top in ORtg on CTG. Their fluky shooting will find its level soon enough. Neither team has particularly strong defense with their most used fives.

It's not a fluke.

Cavs gave up so many open 3s, just like in Boston.

The Allen-Mobley duo does not do a good job defending the outside shots.

Guess that's their weakness on defense.

Hard to believe Cavs lost a game where they led by 19 points. Not even the Celtics have done that this season.

Not surprised about the cavs. We're gonna see them come back down to earth over the course of the season. They had a really good start though.

Give GSW credit for their defense.

OKC really having a hard time getting an open shot.

Only way to break that GSW defense is to have an inside threat like KP.

If you're just trying to find an open 3 or drive to the basket, GSW is very good in covering those.

Not impressed by OKC.

Reminds me of the 2022 Celtics.

But SGA is great.

Without Steph, GSW couldn't steal OKC's thunder.

Nite, nite!

Cavs start out the season literally perfect, 15-0, and we are still right on their ass less than 2 games behind. Gotta love it.

AFAIK, EPM considers schedule and injuries/players missing time. Celtics the only double digit net rating team. One of two teams (OKC the other one) in top 5 in offense and defense.

Bradley Beal injured again. He must be the highest-paid guy per minute played (not counting Simmons, who's just a guest of the league).

Or Joel. Sixers apparently consulted a myriad of doctors before extending him, decided to give him another $193M, and now noticed his knees are beyond ruined and he can't play basketball games.

That's why if the Cs are pacing themselves and not going all in all the time, that's not a bad thing.
