Reminds me of jose calderon who had a lot of 15+ assist games but otherwise was a compete average role player

He was hyper efficient on the offensive end and absolutely terrible defensively. I remember there was a team with Bosh/Bargnani/Calderon as the key cogs that was near the top of the league in offensive efficiency one year. Could be wrong. I mean also he just averaged a lot of assists and minhutes compared to Payton., so big assist games weren't really an outlier.

My point was more so that consensus on GB is that Trae is a Payton type player (fringe league/ bench player), so they should be graded on the same scale. But sarcasm aside, what Payton did is impressive no matter the context.
