Just saw this thread but it doesn't feel as good as it would have 12 hours ago. He'll bounce back
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

Re: The O.G. Anunoby AllStar Campaign Thread.
last two games have set OG back but I still believe in him! His numbers are still great for the season
19 games
36.7 mpg
17.9 ppg
5.3 rpg
2.0 apg
1.3 spg
0.7 bpg
49.4% fg's
37.7% 3pt fg's
84.3% ft's
His best best is to make it either 1st or 2nd All-Defensive Team
I feel like Josh Hart averaging 14/9/6 is a more likely 3rd all-star for the Knicks than OG right now
However, they are both getting outdone by Jalen Johnson in Atlanta averaging 20/10/5 with a steal and a half along with a block
This also could be the year that Derrick White makes the all-star team for Boston

...Hart?
Hart is in a weird position as his natural spot is (perhaps) the league's top 6th man. But much like MLB when they started naming relief pitchers to their all-star game, it should be recognized by the NBA in theirs. Perhaps a separate category on the all-star ballot with one making the team on each side?

Jalen Johnson (ATL) might be taking that last all-star spot
20.1 ppg (50/37/75 shooting splits)
9.9 rpg
5.5 apg
1.4 spg
1.2 bpg
Hawks are 1 game under .500 now too

I really wanted him on draft night. He fell to our spot but Knicks passed on him and traded down for Quentin Grimes

Re: The O.G. Anunoby AllStar Campaign Thread.
There are just so many deserving all-star candidates in the East right now. OG has too much competition.
It might not be enough to put up all-star numbers. You gotta put up SUPERSTAR numbers now. Also gotta play on a winning team. You can have 1st-Tier numbers on a losing team and a 2nd-Tier guy will make it above you if he plays on a winning team.

Re: The O.G. Anunoby AllStar Campaign Thread.
with Franz Wagner now out indefinitely, it gives OG an opportunity to earn an allstar spot
It's still looking very hard because Tatum, Giannis, KAT, Jaylen Brown, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and now Jalen Johnson stand in his way

last 20 games for OG
37.0 mpg
18.9 ppg
49.3% fg's
38.6% 3pt fg's
83.6% ft's
5.3 rpg
2.2 apg

1.3 bpg
There are currently 6 frontcourt players who stand out in the East, are on winning teams, have been healthy all season. and I would guarantee make the all-star team
- Karl-Anthony Towns (NYK)
- Giannis Antetokoumpo (MIL)
- Evan Mobley (CLE)
- Jayson Tatum (BOS)
- Jaylen Brown (BOS)
- Jalen Johnson (ATL)
Then there are 5 frontcourt players who are in the bubble of making it or just missing out
- OG Anunoby (NYK)
- Josh Hart (NYK)
- Jarrett Allen (CLE)
- Jimmy Butler (MIA)
- Bam Adebayo (MIA)
Then there are all-star caliber frontcourt players who just got hurt, or have been hurt for most of the season, so they will likely miss the all-star game unless they get voted in as starters.
- Franz Wagner (ORL)
- Paolo Banchero (ORL)
- Joel Embiid (PHI)
- Kristaps Porzingis (BOS)
There there are all-star caliber frontcourt players who play on losing teams and are unlikely to make it in

The injuries in ORL & PHI helps his cause. I think KAT & Brunson might start.
KAT
Giannis
Tatum
Mitchell
Brunson
Brown
Garland
Herro
Mobley
Maxey
Johnson
Probably 11 of the picks now

Knicks won't have one all star game starter. NYC fans don't vote.

Lillard has been better than Maxey this season and the Bucks have a winning record now. Maxey is shooting 40% from the field and 29% from three.
Trae Young has shot the ball badly too, but leads the league in assists with over 12 a game and the Hawks are winning.
I don't think Maxey makes it in this year. I agree with you on the 10 other guys though.
I think the coaches will vote in Nikola Vucevic as a big. 21 and 10 and 59/47/85 shooting splits should be an all-star. He hasn't missed a single game this season either.
